Nice hotel and location but room disappointing.

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms need refurbishing and modernising.
Hotel has a great location overlooking the bay and beach. Reception and dining facilities were fine. Breakfast was very good. Room was disappointing - second floor up narrow staircase. Eves room with low ceiling beams. Bathroom very small with electric shower and a temperamental cistern flush! Room needs redecorating and carpet looked grubby and stained. Bed comfortable. Not good value for price paid. Other rooms maybe better!

The hotel was well placed with sea view, room was excellent, bathroom was very clean and modern but the water supply was very poor due to poor quality taps etc. What a shame you could not fault the staff and the service.

Close to the beach

Posted Apr 19, 2017
Pros: Breakfast was included. Nice location. Great ambiance.
Cons: The only down side is carrying your luggage up the stairs. The staff did offer to carry it for me.
Location: Across the street from the ocean (paddle board, swimming). Pendennis Castle and St Mawes Castle close. Gylly beach walk.
Quaint guest house close to the beach. Service was great. Room had an amazing view of the ocean. Room was small, but for two it added to the charm and coziness. The location is great for seaside activities, walking distance to the center of town is approx. 1.5 miles.

A quick visit to Falmouth

The location of the house is very good with car parking on site. We were made to feel welcome and valued by the staff. The house is well equipped and furnished and maintained to a high standard. Eating breakfast overlooking the sea is a great start to the day. Overall an excellent stay and we shall return.

Great place to stay

Pros: The staff could not have been better.
A lovely little hotel about a 30 second walk from the beach. I was made to feel incredibly welcome, the room was very comfortable, the food was delicious and there is a nice little bar in the hotel. Although I only stayed the one night, I would have no hesitation in recommending the Anacapri to anyone.

Very comfortable room. Enjoying suite small but adequate. Great sea view and lived opening the window to hear the waves. Good cooked breakfast. Not huge menu. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to beach. Slightly longer but straightforward walk into town.
