It was as nice as our memory of our first stay, when the sun shines there is only one place to be - on the terrace. Having said that it is very comfortable to be inside. It is a very friendly place to be to enjoy Cornwall.

Beautiful and well maintained with very friendly staff

Located in a great partnof Newquay, I had a great stay, really comfortable bed and quiet room, just what was needed. Had to leave early before breakfast but they sorted out a bacon sandwich and coffee for me to take. Thank you, would highly recommend.

I had some issues with the cleanliness of the room. I raised them with staff on the front desk and they were fantastic. Fully engaging, very helpful - however the actual people responsible for the room cleaning were not and did not address anything. After nothing changed, the front desk staff moved me to a different room, and I had a good chat with and apology from the hotel manager. Overall, despite the issues with cleanliness, the hotel is well-run and it was a nice friendly place to stay. Staff are on the whole fantastic. Food was lovely, the bar and dining areas are really well-laid out and the hotel is in a brilliant location by the sea. I'd recommend it as a hotel, with the red flag about cleanliness - double check when you arrive! I think there is a professional disconnect between the staff responsible for cleaning rooms and the rest of the people working at the hotel which I hope they'll fix, so I'd give them the benefit of the doubt for that to be sorted.
