Let’s just say “ never again “ Everything about the hotel was apparent it was trying to pretend it was still an upscale facility but had long ago given up that title.

Good location and value but...

I have stayed here twice now and found it frustrating both times. Though the staff are friendly, the facilities are sub-par. The fitness room was closed for renovations the first time I stayed here. This time, the room was a blistering 85 degrees and the ceiling was leaking. The garage is extremely difficult to navigate and the ticket machine seems to be permanently broken. Even the umbrella I borrowed was broken. The breakfast in the restaurant was inedible. The room was barely cleaned each day - a few towels thrown into the bathroom.

There was no parking avail, had to park 3 blocks away, walk with luggage at 10pm and we were 2 women by ourselves.

Pros: Loved the bed, friendly staff, nice restaurant
Cons: More local craft beers on tap
Location: Great central location
It was my first time in Halifax, loved it! I'd encourage anyone to visit here.

Great location, Nice Restaurant and Pool!

This was my second time staying at this hotel because our first stay was so enjoyable. This hotel is in an excellent location, has a beautiful Restaurant, and nice pool with smaller wading pool for younger children. The room was a little dirtier this time (slight mould on bathroom ceiling.. bottle cap left on bathroom counter) and there were a few loud teenagers but overall our stay was pleasant. I would not rush back, but I would definitely consider staying here again if the price is right.

Location: Halifax Common, close to downtown

Front desk clerk was rude. I’ve stayed there a few times before. It’s close to downtown and a reasonable price for what you get. The rooms are old we founded toothpaste under the faucet from multiple usages that wasn’t cleaned properly. We also found food in between the bed and the night stand.

Nice hotel Halifax

First impression is that it's a little dated, and the carparking is a little tight, but was handy location, clean and tidy, had good amenities, comfortable, good pillows, pool and spa too, restaurant available at the hotel and cafes/food/drink places all within walking distance. If there were people on the corridor you could hear them quite loudly at times, bit other than that, pretty quiet and had a great view. Would stay again.
