Spenet over $800 for a Ocean View Suite, and was given a room that had a COMPLETELY BLOCKED view (3rd floor) and was right above a noisy kiddie pool.
We were switched to a new room after complaining, but had to wait several hours. The new room had a great location, but there was a water leak that no one tended to the entire stay (we extened our visit btw). The balcony was also covered with bugs, making it unbearable to sit outside. I sent a letter to the hotel and I STILL have not gotten any response at all. Here is what I sent,

I am hoping we can be accomodated, compensated in some way, etc based on our experience at the FB. In summary, we paid upwards of $800/night and did not have the experience that warranted the price tag.
I'd like to bring to your attention several issues we encountered during our stay at the FB Sorento, Ocean Front Suite. We extended our stay, and expected for issues to be resolved. but they were not:
1. We reserved an Ocean Front Sorento Suite. Our initial check in room was on floor 3, with a COMPLETE obstruction of the view with palm trees. We were moved to the 19th floor, but had to wait 5 hours for the room to be available (no issue here)
2, Our new 19th floor room was not available on time and we received no text. After waiting in two lines (one at the main lobby, and then again at the Tresor tower, we finally got access to our room, late. The young lady stated the resort fee would be waived.
