Gorgeous accommodations; beatific pool area.

The only negative was the Selling of the Vacation Club prior to getting to our rooms after a long day's travel. Service, food, drinks, accommodations were all excellent .

Amazing resort, staff is friendly

Great time . Friendly staff helped us book excursions. Food is great , many selections . Pool is perfect .

Great hotel

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful time staying here. The staff was super friendly. The view was unbeatable great experience!

Now Amber is a great Resort

Pros: The staff was terrific! The Resort lobby and patio porches were gorgeous and comfortable. The pool grounds were very nice. All around a great place.
Cons: We went during the hurricane season. It was very humid. The room had a dehumidifier, worked great. But room still had a slight mildew smell.
Location: Puerto Vallarta is a nice, clean town. Now Amber is located near the town. Zip lining, Hidden Mexico, & city tour are a must if you want to know more.
The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. The food was good with great presentation. We would definitely go back there.

More guests than expected. Preferred Club is not any nicer. No need to pay for upgrade. Rooms are the same without PC.

Excellent vacation resort for family vacation. An all inclusive resort that does not require reservations at most of its restaurants. Only one restaurant requires reservations and is adults only at its sister side of Secrets Resort. Every day activities at the pool for all ages with great poolside service. Was a little disappointed with beach, very little sand and mostly pebbles, water a quite dirty from bay and run off from rivers after rains and endless vendors approaching you but hey it's Mexico and it expected (just say no gracias and they move on). Rooms are quite big and very comfortable with walk in showers and jet tub. Every room has a beach view, I would recommend requesting a room above the fifth floor. Overall a top notch resort which I highly recommend.

Hotel was just average

Not sure about other room. But my room was very moisture. The floor always feel like wet and sticky. The room smell like moldy, and we all got bed bug bite Hotel staff mostly very nice , except for 1 that gave us a hard time when we came with party of 7 and she said she can't put us all together. ( for 7 people???). And didn't even care that we walk away. I didn't have good experience with this hotel compared to other than I went.
