The property is very dated. The pool was closed. The owners said it was the pump and they were trying to get it fixed. It appears to have been closed for some time. It is still listed as a functional amenity. It was one of the main reasons we chose this property. The room was not clean and wreaked of stale smoke, like it had been smoked in for years. It is also listed as a non smoking room, while that may be the case now, it was smoked in a lot in the past. The breakfast was not good and there were very few spaces to eat said breakfast. The double pull out couch had no blankets and I had to go to the desk and was given a ratty ripped fitted sheet and two decorative end throws, not a blanket. I went back again to ask and did receive a small thin blanket. The temperature control did not function properly in the room, it was either very hot or very cold.

What an absolute experience with this establishment! Hotel was booked for more than a month in advance, called the day of the event and asked if we could check in early, which we were told we could, so we go out of our way to make sure we get the room. Upon arrival, we are told that we can’t actually check in until 4, which whoever told us that couldn’t be from here, must be the call center. So we asked if they could leave a note to let whoever at the counter know we wouldn’t check in until 11:30. Fast forward, event ends and we make our way back to the hotel to check in around 11:30. We are told that all rooms have been checked out, but they have one with no AC but we could us Meijer first ever box fans for the night. We get our fans plugged and and try to watch TV, guess what? The TV doesn’t even work. I would like some kind of refund or discount this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Good stay, would definitely return. Overall the place was clean, had a great staff and breakfast. Terrible water pressure and some of the furniture, carpets, and tv could be updated.

We were getting ready to shower before checking out and had no water. I called the front desk and she said “oh yea the water is off for a couple hours!” They could have told us so we could have showered before the city shut it off. I’m beyond mad.

The property is conveniently located off the highway near many restaurants and stores. The hotel itself is a bit worn on the inside, definitely needs some renovation. Breakfast was fine and the staff was friendly.

Not worth the amount paid
I was very disappointed in my stay…as you can see in the pictures below! Walls are bubbling, cracks in the ceiling, definitely water damage at some point if not currently. Stains on the floors, didn’t even take my shoes off! Bathroom was the nicest place in the room, and cleanest. Bed was not comfortable at all! Every spring was felt while trying to sleep, tiny TV is provided, not what you expect for paying what they charge a night for a room! Over all will not be back! My view from the window was the back of a speedway gas station :(

This hotel has the thinnest walls! The bathroom floor had not been mopped, stains on the carpet and lamp shades, and wood on the furniture had been damaged. The front desk staff in the evening and morning were very nice, but I was very dissatisfied with paying $184 for this room.

The staff at the hotel were great no problem there but, the hotel room we stayed at was really dirty looking. There were stains on the carpet and the wallpaper was peeling off by the window unit.

It wasn't bad, but not worth even close to what I paid for it. The room was accessible only because it was on the ground floor. The listing said accessible shower, it was a tub with a cloth shower curtain. I had to use most of the towels to clean up water and they were the scratchiest towels Ive ever felt

Worst Hotel Ever
The place is really run down. The staff was not helpful at all and to the point of being rude. On top of that, they messed up my reservation, checked me in a day and a half *before* I even arrived an then kicked me out a day before my reservation ended "because I had already stayed all my days". On top of that, they got angry at me for showing my reservation and asked me to leave. 1/2 the breakfast was disgusting and cold, and the coffee maker in the room and in the lobby were all broken. I would stay away from this hotel. They are crooks!

Our room was decent; however the “couch” in the room was so broken down that one was essentially just sitting on the mattress frame inside. It was so bad. The bed had an “aluminum can” popping sound when you sat on the end of it. Our key cards deactivated 6+ times during our 1 night stay, even when it was just sitting on a desk or table or in a pocket alone in between uses. That was extremely inconvenient.

We stayed in a double Queen bed suite with pull out couch. The hotel could definitely use some sprucing up, but the price and space is why we have gone back. However, our stay we just had was not pleasant. The hotel was hot. Like muggy/stinky hot. All of the hallway thermostats read 76 degrees. I’m assuming they were programmed at that temp. Our room was hit when we entered so we kicked the air on, thinking it was just from being an empty room. We left and returned a few hours later and the room was mildly cooler but not great. We had set the thermostat to 70 degree before we left. When we returned, it said 73. So we turned it down again. Nothing. I then checked the unit by the window and tried those buttons. Waited, and nothing, except going up in temp. With us being there we created more heat. It was around 11pm when I called and the front desk came up to reset the thermostat and brought a box fan. He agreed it was unpleasant in the room. The air kicked on after he did this and we thought it was fixed. We tried sleeping and couldn’t because everyone was restless and my 7 and 4 year old were sweaty, my 4 month old was sweaty and cranky and couldn’t stay asleep. 75 degrees now and I called the front desk around 3:30am and he said there’s nothing he could do about it and when I asked for more fans he told me he gave us the only one they had. The night was miserable and the customer service was crappy in handling the issue. Not impressed at all!

The staff was nice but the accommodations were poor. The pull out couch was so broken and sagging it couldn’t be used for sitting or as a bed. We booked specifically for the pull out couch. They had no extra blankets for the pull out and the bathroom shower wasn’t cleaned. Long hair balls were present. Elevator was down for our stay, probably difficult to get a tech out over the weekend, but added to the overall disappoint.

Wonderful stay
