Nice hotel and just love that it is dog friendly!

Posted Aug 19, 2017
Pros: Everything!
Cons: At check in locate pet area on map for customer.
Location: The location was close to everything. I spent most of my time at Kiva beach for dogs.
Room was very clean and bed was so comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would recommend this for others especially with pets. I would stay here again but would ask for a ground floor level as the stairs were difficult for my 12 year old golden. Thanks 3 Peaks!

Good location but overpriced for value

Posted Aug 3, 2017
This is neither a resort nor a beach club, it is a basic motel in a good location. PROS: Rooms were clean and seemed to be recently updated, beds were comfortable. CONS: Room had only two towels for 4 people and could not get extra pillows. Overall we felt it was a bit overpriced for the value.

I agree not having more then 2 towels is no good for 4 people. we do always have extras for the guest for future stay. we hope to see you back again

Close to beach and ahopping

Posted Aug 2, 2017
This hotel is dog friendly. It was close to the beach and shopping. And restaurants. It was outdated. The tomorr seat was loose and would slide when you sat down. The linens were old and felt like sand paper. There was no free breakfast.

Best Hotel in South Lake

Posted Jul 31, 2017
My girlfriend and I stayed at this resort for he Jack Johnson concert and it was insanely clean, comfortable and the staff was super nice. We live in Incline Village and will definitely stay there again with our dog!

One of the best hotels for disability travel

Posted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: nice big bathroom with roll-in shower. Perfect for disabled persons like me.
Cons: Lower bed so that it's leveled with my wheelchair. And a firm mattress because it makes it easier for paraplegics to change clothes and to roll.
Location: Conveniently located within walking distance from shipping, dining, the beach and the casinos.
Being disabled and having to use a manual wheelchair to get around, I was very happy with 3 Peaks with the room I was provided with. I was originally assigned a room that my wheelchair could not get through the bathroom door but was quickly moved to another room with roll-in shower and large bathroom when I informed the office about my predicament. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located within walking (pushing in my case) distance from the Casinos, Heavenly gondolas and other shopping/dining activities nearby. You can also stroll to the beach. So, you don't have to do a lot of driving. My only pet-peeve is the high-bed with the soft matress that is now common in hotels everywhere. That makes it hard for someone like me, let alone someone older and weaker, to transfer to the bed. The sunken mattress makes it hard to change clothes. My only wish is the hotel industry would recognize this issue that disabled persons have to face and provide a low bed at the same level as our wheelchairs, and a firm mattress so that we are not sunken into it because we have to carry a lot of dead weight. But anyway, thank you 3 Peaks staff for your wonderful service!

conveniently located hotel

Posted Jul 30, 2017
Pros: cleanliness, quiet location, nice pool and jacuzzi, conveniently located
Cons: it would be helpful to have more towel racks near the sink area and also in the bathroom near the shower
Location: tons to do nearby - hiking, viewing lake from Inspiration Point, shopping, restaurants, lake/beach activities
Nice, quiet location, just a few blocks walking distance to Heavenly Village where there are lots of restaurants and shops, nearby grocery store, two minute drive to Nevada state line/casinos, short walk to beach/Lake Tahoe; easy drive to wonderful restaurants such as Himmel Haus (huge portions of delicious German food), Heidi's pancakes - delicious crepes, pancakes, etc and decorated to make you feel as though you are in Switzerland, super yummy tacos at Chimayo Street Grill - absolutely fantastic selection of street tacos, and if you get there during happy hour they are $1 off; beautiful hiking trails nearby; don't miss going to Inspiration Point for a fantastic view of Lake Tahoe
