Great skiing and easy to walk to the Gondola. I stay here quite frequently is very convenient to walk to the Heavenly Gondola without having to move the car all weekend.

Location, location, location for the most reasonably priced, no frills basic accommodations, within a very short 1 block walking distance to the Heavenly Gondola, as the name of this place indicates is true. Friendly owner and manager. They will let you leave your vehicle parked after you check out on your last day if you are going our to ski or ride. If the Gondola is closed for wind during a storm you can take a shuttle to the California lodge or drive and park yourself on either Nevada (15 min) or California (5 min) base lodges of Heavenly. I've been staying here on average 5 ski trips per year for at least 15 years and a couple times in summer is an easy walk to the outdoor Harvey's concert venue.

The only good thing about this place is that it is right next to Heavenly gondola and the internet is fast. They advertise that it's quiet, but we had people on either side of us and above us and it was so loud. Also, the bathroom and shower were gross and they don't give you that many towels. The room itself also felt dirty. There were stains on my "clean" bedding. I'm glad I brought slippers because I did not want to touch the floor.

The location was super convenient, walkable to the gondola. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room condition was okay, about what you would expect for this type of hotel so it wasn't too disappointing. The room was clean to my standards although bedsheets had some stains. I would say a good value for ski season but would not pay $200 a night if it was not ski season.

The first two nights were quiet. The third night at about 10:30 PM four adults, two children and a dog checked in that room next-door. They started partying and with their door open, smoking pot on the stairs making so much noise until about 1 AM. I asked management to quiet them down, but they didn’t stop partying. So an hour later I had to ask them to quiet down again. They were up again at 6 AM partying. It’s miserable when you’re trying to wake up and go skiing and you got minimal to no sleep the night before. It’s very difficult to take a shower in that room because the telescopic showerhead base doesn’t work. There’s no towel racks, and there were ants in the room. I had to seal all my food or put it in the refrigerator.

Though the staff was lovely and accommodating, and the room generally clean and overall comfortable, the sheets smelled too much of chlorine and the shower head was not fitted so that we didn't soak the entire bathroom floor if we were not in front of the shower head. It was a handicap shower, which was fine, but the shower head was a removable one that I think had been moved so much it was not staying in a good position. Other than that, the location is great and the hotel felt safe and secure. Thanks!

Been staying here for like 15 years. Gondola is across the street. If gondola is closed the heavenly shuttle is also across the street. The village and restaurants are so close. across the street and to the left. Microwave and fridge for left over vietnamese food and poke. Starbucks also across the street. Casinos and CVS is a 4 minute walk to the left. Gas station to to the right. Sheets were clean. Room was clean. Thermostat is by the window. Parking is uncovered for lifted trucks. Sometimes its full. Lisa let me check in early. Lisa was very friendly. Its a 2 star but its best for your budget in mind. Id rather save the money for 20 dollar chili and 15 dollar can of beer at the lodge. Dont stay here so I will always have a room when the powder is coming down with a last minute booking! Haha!

The hotel was well placed, clean and comfortable. The host at the desk was very pleasant and had us checked in quickly. Checkout was just as simple. The room was perfect for our family on a quick ski break.

How this got the overall rating it has is beyond me. Only positive thing I can say is no bed bugs lol. TV hummed, bad shower water pressure, hot water was hit or miss, clicking sound in wall at night!? Would not stay here again.
