Good budget motel

Posted Nov 9, 2017
Pros: Good price, clean, quiet.
Cons: Install weather stripping around the door. Need more outlets. TV was terrible. Shower made for very short people.
Location: Right on the main strip in Lake Tahoe.
Good value motel. Dated but clean. Weird heater.

An underrated gem in Tahoe

Posted Oct 9, 2017
Pros: Clean rooms, fast wifi and easy parking.
Location: The Travel Inn is located within walking distance of quite a few restaurants, a liquor store, a CVS and a handful of other shops.
The Travel Inn has an excellent location and staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Plenty of electrical outlets. The staff are very friendly and whenever I'm in Tahoe I like to stay at the Travel Inn. Plenty of parking and fast wifi. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck.

Great room at an excellent price

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Fantastic sized room.
Cons: It would be great to have a kettle for tea drinkers like myself, but understand that's probably not a priority for most American visitors.
Location: The location was within walking distance of Heidi's for breakfast, the marina and town, but then we like walking.
We had a family room, set off the road, which made it quieter. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spotless and large. Even for the three of us and all our bags, there was still plenty of room. Coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room, and parking right outside the door. The swimming pool was empty and looked like it will stay that way for a while. If you don't like traffic noise, then this may not be the place for you. It was fine for us as we were set back off the road and therefore the traffic noise was reduced.

No hot shower

No hot water for me to use shower and no spa, pool, sauna. All are broken. Not worth my $170/night! I wish I booked somewhere nice place.

Good value for a basic room

Posted Aug 21, 2017 on Hotels
Quick 1 night stand for a hike and a Mt bike ride. This was a clean, inexpensive room. No AC, had a fridge. Very basic but good value. Good pub for dinner right next door.
