Very nice hotel

Posted Jan 17, 2018
Pros: Proximity to Market St., comfortable beds, helpful reception, vintage environment.
Cons: Breakfast muffins weren't too great. Maybe provide guests with choice of fruit or muffin. Vending machine didn't work well (wouldn't take bills).
Location: Near Market & many public transportation stops. Walking distance to Union Station & cable car stops. Quick muni-bus ride to Fisherman's Wharf.
I had such a nice stay here over MLK day weekend. The front desk was very helpful when we arrived. We arrived earlier than check in time but we were allowed to leave our luggage free-of-charge which was very helpful. The front desk person (I wish I remembered her name) was very helpful in providing us a map and assisting us with directions to Pier 39. Our room was very clean and the environment of the hotel was vintage and homey. It's located near Market which turned out to be perfect since most bus stops and the metro station run through there. The breakfast provided is a grab-and-go type: muffin, orange, and a granola bar and free coffee or tea. It was perfect for a weekend getaway for tourist who weren't going to spend much time in their hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible and expensive parking

Posted Jan 2, 2018
They charge you 40 dollars for parking and I only stayed one day. The parking structure is horribly designed. I scratched my truck trying to get out. It's not a sharp turn, it's an impossible turn for a bigger vehicle to make. The hotel itself is what you would expect. No major frills and a comfortable bed.

Pros: Affordable, secure, and clean
Cons: breakfast
Location: south of market ---walk to anywhere
While South of Market with all its "character" this hotel is secure and clean and had the usual amenities.

Very basic and functional hotel. Note that parking is extra. Free boxed breakfast is included (banana, muffin, juice/coffee, and a hard boiled egg).

Comfortable hotel. Staff members were very helpful and the hotel is well maintained. Area is OK; felt safe during the day.

This hotel is very dated. Tiny lobby with no aminities like gym. Complimentary breakfast is really pathetic.

Pros: Location
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable.
Hotel is nice for the age. Not bad at all, but not super awesome. You need to be careful at night as their are a lot of homeless people out on the streets. Pretty close to down town and the Moscone Center which is what we were going for.
