Easy walk to AT&T park

Location: Easy walk to Jersey (the restaurant, not the state). Great pizza and beer selection. A bit further but still walk-able to the Exploratorium.
The hotel is in the midst of needed upgrades to the rooms. Our first night was in one of the new rooms. Comfy with lots of electrical outlets and USB charging spots. Unfortunately we were also next to some other rooms undergoing renovation. Too loud for comfort I'm afraid. We talked to the the Operations Manager. I didn't catch his name, I'm afraid. But he was very gracious and was able to get us into a quieter room without fuss. We have stayed there a couple of times and would certainly stay again.

Location is everything

Pros: Friendly staff, lobby area was nice. Location was great to go to Giants game
Cons: They promised us a microwave and it never showed up. Found a dirty wet towel on bathroom floor. Don't see how that could have been missed.
Location: For a Giants game, it's only about a 10 minute (safe) walk.
Staff was great at check-in, comped our breakfast when we told them we were there for a birthday weekend. But at the same time I asked 2 times for a Microwave in the room which they said they would accommodate, but it never showed up. There was a dirty stained towel in the bathroom which was still wet. I would expect better at a hotel like this. Overall, you are paying a lot of money for location. We were there for a Giants game and the walking distance to the park was great. But otherwise it was a pretty underwhelming experience. Upgraded to a top floor room for a better view. Between that cost and $67 to park overnight spent in excess of $400.00 Not sure I would do that again.

Average hotel but good location

Pros: The rooms are fully wired, there is free wifi through out that seems to work well. Probably a hotel more for the business man and not vacation.
Cons: Lobby is dated with old furniture that is not functional. Not condusive for meetings etc.
Location: Easy access to Union park and to the baseball stadium.
The hotel is nice, not fantastic. It is easy to find and hasa great location. However I think that it is not really worth the price you pay. Get ready to pay more than 60 plus tax just to park. Lobby needs to be made more functional. We stayed in one of the remodelled rooms and while it was designed well with plenty of outlets and electronic modifications there are no towel racks and the overall construction or reconstruction was poor. They wanted to charge us extra for the room but the elite status got us in for no extra charge. But there were already nail pops under the wallpaper etc. The changes were largely cosmetic. Staff was good, food was average, service was outstanding. Very expensive for what you get even in San Francisco.

Everything was great, except the noise

Pros: Everything else was great.
Cons: Keep the pool open later than 11pm.
Construction noise, street noise and hallway noise were all problematic. And I sleep with earplugs in! The construction noise woke us up early every morning, as tapping, drilling, etc vibrated through the concrete. We could hear people yelling at each other outside through the window/blinds late at night, most nights. Even the sound of kids yelling, running up and down the halls came right into the room at 7am each morning.

Comfortable Stay

Pros: Friendly staff!
Cons: Nothing
Location: Walking distance to the Civic Center.
Hotel staff were all very courteous. Valet parking only, brand new car, and well taken care of. Hotel very clean, room was big with a view of the San Francisco Bay. Close to the Civic Center. I would stay at this hotel again.

Great location

- did not get a room as advertised in the picture, maybe our room wasn't remodeled yet. - staff was helpful - vallet guys had our car out and ready to go each time we called down with notice before leaving - breakfast was delicious - pool area was very tiny for a hotel of this size, it was packed and didn't seem as clean as it should, but towels were available - parking is an additional $65 each night - my kids were sad all the fortune cookies were gone when we checked in at 3, and weren't refilled when they checked as we left for dinner and then returned after... big empty jar of crumbs each time... the little things.

I got this room for a nice view of the city but was disappointed to find out we were surrounded by taller buildings so the view wasn't what I expected but the room itself is a decent size with a very comfy bed. The pool is ok, but it only goes up to 3 feet. They have a nice fire pit and bar area and their own Starbucks! Be ready to pay $62 a night for valet service since there is no self parking available.

Nice hotel in financial district

We always like Courtyard by Marriott and we're not disappointed. Friendly hotel staff offered early checkin and late check out. We liked being away from tourist areas, but were able to get to all the tourist sites with ease. Cable car stop a few blocks away and there is always a cab out front.
