Love the Lazy River!

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: Laxy River, resort feel, restaurant on site, in room kitchen/kitchenette
Cons: Pillows were too hard and big. I slept without them entirely.
Location: There are shuttles to main attractions and daily shuttles to the groceries. You really don't even need a car.
We only got to use the facilities one day so I can't tell you about all their other amenities (and there are many) but we LOVED the lazy river. One thing I love is that there are more and more non-casino, non-smoking hotels, of which this is one. This hotel really feels like a resort, for a change. I will look forward to coming back to Las Vegas so we can stay here.

Most everything was nice but for the food. The pizza was so bad. It was especially nice to have the scheduled shuttle to the strip. No problems with the resort.

Hi, Roger. Thank you for your visit and feedback. We are happy we made a favorable impression and wish your appraisal of our pizza had been equally positive. We are glad it didn't detract from your overall experience.

Customer Service Doesn't Exist

Posted Aug 3, 2017
Pros: Leaving.
Cons: Train your housekeeping staff. Actually care about your customers.
When we got to the hotel, they checked us into a room that was already occupied. Then they left us (with a 5yr old and 2yr old who had already endured a 4 hr trip in a car) in the hall outside of an already occupied room. They forgot about us and never brought us the keys to our new room. We asked the front desk for more coffee, they promised it would be delivered to the room - of course, it never showed. Our kids were going to sleep in the sofa couch and when we pulled it out - food. Nasty food in the bed part of the couch. The phone in the room was broke. The table - I kid you not - had one side about 20 degrees higher than the other. Like a typical building run by a time share company, they don't care about the people or the facilities. Just the money. We won't be back.

Hi, Pete. Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed we fell so far short of expectations. Needless to say, the issues you cite are well below our cleanliness and customer service standards, and we extend our sincerest apologies.

Nice Hotel without Casino

Posted Aug 1, 2017
Pros: Pool Hours
Cons: Check out time should be 11 or 12
Location: Dinning shopping
Nice hotel for kids and late pool hours of operation. The only downside is the enforced early checkout at 10:00am, we normally check out at 11 or 12 on other hotels.

Great family hotel!

Very nice hotel and staff! Loved the free shuttle to the Strip and Freemont Street! Pool is fabulous! The day we were to check out our flight was delayed until the next day and they saved the day and found a room for us and for another couple stranded at the airport for a great price!! So thankful!!

Terrific, family-friendly place

Posted Jul 27, 2017
Pros: Location, grounds, pool and the restaurant
Cons: The smell in the rooms, try to hide the roaches a bit more outside
We stayed as a family of four in a basic room, so having the kitchen was great (but we ended up not cooking, just using the dishes). The grounds, the lazy-river, the pools, the shuttle service, the restaurant... it was all so awesome! We made the mistake and went to the Denny's (on-property) before we went to 17deg SB&B and were pretty bummed we waited -- VERY good restaurant/atmosphere/service -- but oh well. Despite the large amounts of traffic in and out of the pools, there was always a clean towel and a place to set your stuff. The free shuttle was perfect, and we used it everyday. Also, tip: the airport rental car facility is one block behind the property, so instead of paying for a cab to/fro the airport, just rent a car (or use their shuttles and walk). The only bad: our room smelled AWFUL. We had r/s come up and spray it down but when we realized what they were spraying was basically the smell, we decided it wasn't worth moving. There is an abundance of roaches outside on the grounds, but that's to be expected especially in an environment where there's open grilling and people. The staff clearly tries very hard to keep everything clean and tidy, and I regularly saw them scouring the grills -- this place tries hard! Lastly, we were there for 3 nights, but were only given 1 coffee pack (and they only clean once/ week). The quick cafe has good coffee but heads up, they run out of foods fast.

Lovely! Great for families! I was able to relax while my children run and play! I recommend this to anyone with children that do not want to stay on the strip.

Location far from strip, the pool is closed too early, view from the window to the parking garage

Hi, Bob. Thank you for your visit and feedback. We are surprised to read your comment about our pool closing early. During our summer schedule it closes at 10 p.m. daily, by far the latest of any property in Las Vegas. Thanks again for choosing Tahiti Village and sharing your comments.
