Nice big rooms

Ocean front East rooms have the ocean balcony and also Master bedroom has a big window fronting south so you technically have 2 views.

The all the guestrooms have a great views of the water. We are the only resort on the island than can say that but the Condos have extended balcony to had to your resort experience. I have so happy to hear you had a great stay.

Beach time

We stayed here for the first time the beach area was nice t over crowded. It was perfect for quiet relaxing times

South Padre Island has done much better job keeping the beach cleaned up and ready for our guests. We are one of the few hotels with direct beach access and unobstructed views even from the pool deck that look right at the ocean. My team and I are happy to hear about your great experience.

We really enjoyed the stay at the Pearl. Good location. Great view of the beach. Staff was very friendly. They had a great meet and greet on Thursday night. Only complaint was the showerhead which barely let the water come out. First world problem I know.

Sounds like a great stay minus the shower. Don't know if you reported it but I am sure it was a simple fix. We are the only Resort on the island that can say every room has a view of the water. I am glad you were able to be their for our free manager cocktail reception. He has really become hit. We look forward to your next visit with us.

Nice Hotel. Close to the beach.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: The restaurant needs to serve seafood all weekend. It is the island. Pretty weird to serve Italian buffet on Saturday. My husband and I love seafood!
We had an awesome time. We hardly left the hotel area. The only downfall was we didn't want to leave the area, but we had to because they had seafood buffet on Fridays only. Saturday night , we had to go look for a restaurant because we love seafood. They had no shrimp in restaurant at the hotel. Bummer! Other than that , our stay was pretty awesome. Ocean view with causeway view was cool. Then of course there was the pool area. Very nice.

I am glad to hear you were truly able to take advantage of our resort experience. From Yoga to Zumba or Karaoke to our free cocktail reception our guests are really seeing the value of the added concession that other properties aren't offering on the island. You do bring up a good point about the shrimp. We do offer seafood on the menu but Saturday's Italian buffet isn't very seafood heavy. Thank you very much for your feedback. Roomy king double condo

Enjoyed the square footage and conncecting rooms , however some of the furniture is quite outdated . My biggest concern was the mattress , definitely needed replacement . The bathroom was very tight in this particular condo , I’m rather petite and it felt tight for me , can only imagine how my husband felt . As for the view, it was magnificent ... totally made up for everything else . The balcony is large , there is access from each room (3) living , master and connecting room . You can see the ocean while in th living area. Lastly staff was amazing , room service is fast no complaints there !

A clean room and exceptional customer service is what everyone should expect when traveling on leisure or business. I am happy to hear that we exceed both of those expectations. Some condos have a little bigger of a bathroom area but as a whole I really like the Condos at the Pearl Resort because you can get an at home feel but with the amenities of a resort (like Room Service and Pool Bar). Nice hotel, staff very nice and helpful

Pros: The friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful beach and easy access to pool and Jacuzzi.
Cons: The restaurant menu could be improved.
Location: Restaurants close by as well as water activities.
The stay was good except for the emergency alarms which proved to be found but waking us up in the middle of the night and we couldn't go back to sleep. They would sound alarm telling everyone to go down to lobby but not in elevators, then before you could get dressed called it off. The staff was very friendly and nice. The restaurant was just ok...we didn't like what was offered so we didn't eat there unless we had to. The cocktail party which was offered to guests was pretty cheap...why have something and not make it first class. Overall, we would probably stay at this hotel again.

My staff are really going to be happy to hear that they had a positive impact on you stay. It is always bitter sweet for the hotel when the fire alarms go off. We are happy that we have such a system that can alert us in case of a fire but when someone tampers with it or we have a false alarm that is the bitter part of it since it wakes our guests up and makes them get out of bed for no reason. We try and inspect the area ASAP and try to report on it as quickly as possible so it isn't too much of an inconvenience. I hope the pros out weigh this inconvenience. I am surprised on your comment about our complimentary manager reception. I would be curious what one would want at this reception that we don't currently offer.

Awesome views and great location for a resort

The room we stayed in had a very nice view. There was a pool and hot tub that looked good outside but I didn’t get to get inside them. It also had it own private entrance to the beach. There was only a couple of things I disliked: 1.) THE BED. Pillows were hard and blanket was so thin and basically fitted to the bed that you could not move the blankets whatsoever. I would recommend bringing your own pillow and blanket for comfort. The bed was soft I guess it was the pillows and thin unmoveable blanket that I had an issue with. I usually don’t like to complain but I really have to vent about this. 2.) parking lot. Although there was plenty of parking, there was also a public beach access meaning anyone could park there with no cameras visible in the parking lot. Staying in November was perfect as it was not as crowded with the parking and public beach access but I hear it’s summer, that’s when there’s issues. Overall pleased with the resort but the lack of sleep I encountered ruined my weekend there. Hope this helps!

I do appreciate you taking the time to share your stay with us. The views throughout the property are just breathtaking. I know it is the highlight of my day when I do my walk-throughs of the property and I get to see the ocean. I know we have other pillows that might have been more comfortable. I wish we would have known so this wouldn't have ruined your stay. We do ask that every guest puts a piece of paper linking them to the hotel so we can distinguish our guests from others who might be parking for the beach access. Humility super high

The location is excellent. The hotel and facilities are pretty good. The only issue we had was the humidity was very high. The floor in the room was always damp like if you had just finished moping. If you walked on it your socks would be soaked wet within minutes. Due to the humidity after a few hours the sheets on the bed were damp and cold. Other than that our stay was good.

A lot of guests like that we close to the causeway so you don't have to travel far once you get on the island. We do see that the humidity does have an effect on the room if the balcony door is kept opened for more than just a few seconds. We are working on a solution for this since we know some guests like to keep the balcony door opened. I happy to see you did enjoy your overall stay.

I must say than whenever I want to take a breather I step out by the pool area and look out at the ocean. It really makes me feel like I am on vacation for a just a few minutes. Tony is our #1 bartender. Some of guests come back just for him.
