Very disappointed, no service staff available.

Moldy restroom. Paint peeling. Hairs in linens. Staff there @ checkin but nowhere to be found @ night & early mornings. Called front desk before 11pm, no answer; walked over & there were numbers posted for afterhours & emergencies- called the afterhours # & got a message that they shut off the phone from 11pm-9am - called before 11 pm but didn't get a call until next morning around 9. Signs in room state you are expected to clean the room, "at least sweep clean". Small TV, uncomfortable beds, floor is NOT carpeted. Cramped & deteriorating restroom (small, round toilet, not a standard oval). Kitchen sink had cold/hot water, bathroom sink cold/warm, shower had COLD/COOL water only. Very rough towels (no softener). Bring own towels, theirs are NOT for use at pool or beach, also bring own shampoo, none provided. The hotel website highlights this as one of the oldest at SPI - it shows once you walk into the room – all cinder block construction. Ask for WiFi passcode upon checkin, no info in room & staff unavailable. If bringing pets & wish to prepare meals rather than go out, this may be a good option, otherwise, you’ll be very disappointed. Never rated/reviewed a hotel before, this experience warranted it. If anyone visits you, their policy is to charge $10pp, even if not staying, and no parking available except for 1 spot/room. “Do Not Disturb” is not an option (no doortags), went for an iron at front desk, they had to deliver it, probably to check if any guests present.
