Tired...........Fire Alarm disaster!!

Pros: The hotel was nice and we enjoyed the lounge area and the shuttle was great!!
Cons: Front desk being more apologetic!!
The stay was great until early morning!! My friend and I were awoke by the Fire Alarm and we stuffed our belongings into our luggage. We went into the hallway and we were the only ones. Our room had a faulty alarm and it went off three times. The service desk employee was very nice and removed the alarm. We were very tired over the interrupted sleep. The woman at the desk that morning didn't seem very apologetic and I thought it was rather rude. The whole day was rather unpleasant with the lack of sleep didn't help. I'd think twice before I made another reservation.

We’ve been staying at this hotel for the past several years due to location and price. The quality and experience has gradually declined. On our last visit, we discovered that the hot tub had been filled in (still listed as an amenity). We also found a restaurant staffer to be less than friendly on a couple separate occasions. We asked housekeeping to restock some critical supplies, which didn’t happen. There is little that differentiates this hotel from the Holiday Inn Express across the street other than the Marriott’s $16 pp breakfast charge. The hotel does not meet what I have come to expect from my stays at other Marriott hotels.

We love this hotel. My only negative observation is that in the four days we were there, the rug in the fourth floor hallway was filthy. Spilled food that was there from day one and it looked like it never got vacuumed,

We did not try the food in the restaurant. I was there for a conference and it was very comfortable. Located to drive to great places in Maine in a reasonable amount of time. There was no hottub. Only indoor pool and sauna. It was a great stay.

No sheets or blankets for pull out couch and mattress was in poor shape. The floor had candy corn in several places so doubt it was cleaned thoroughly. We arrived after 4pm and 1 room was not ready but just a minor thing. The front desk was very courteous and helpful
