Beautiful 4400+ Square feet custom built home that comes with 350' of premier sandy lake superior shoreline. 4 bedrooms-- with 10 beds (4 Full size, 5 queen, to 1 King), 2 sectionals, 2 futons, etc... 4 Bathrooms (3.5 baths, including one custom clawfoot bathtub), a porch, fireplace, fire ring, and a beautiful kitchen. Please come and check out this secluded slice of Heaven located at the end of a 3 mile gravel road.

This house is a great opportunity to bring together loved ones and enjoy quiet time secluded on 10 acres just 20 miles from downtown Duluth. This property abounds with million dollar views, wildlife, and stars you can't imagine. Come spend time with your group on the beach or in the spacious main house around a fire on a cold winters' eve.

Bottom line. this is the perfect property for your family vacation. The only other residents on our road are retired, so we prefer to cater to family gatherings to enjoy our beautiful serenity and the north woods, slow-paced, lifestyle.

If you are looking for weddings or large gatherings, we own the property right next door-- Combining the two we can accommodate 30-35 people in our 11 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. If you're interested in learning more, please let us know. Would love to help you accommodate your group :)

It was a fun quirky house, only complaint was nervousness about water use. With a family of marathon runners and long hair, we were worried we would set off the alarm!

Great for large group!

We stayed here with a youth group for a conference and loved the feel of this house, it had room for sleeping plenty, and the beds were super comfy! Would stay here again for sure!

3 generation family vacation

If you like things in the wilderness and quiet, this is a nice place. Many animals to watch.We were disappointed with accuracy of the listing. Listing says there is a playground, this would of been nice. No playground.Listing states there is a ping pong table, paddles and balls but no table.Property was large but yard was small, this was hard with small children.Listing states fire pit, so we brought wood. There is a fire ring but it is in a small clearing down steep path to lake, not practical location-looks like has never been used.There was about 1 foot between water and woods with several logs in way, making beach difficult to use.There was a beach that was nice withing walking distance.

Family Getaway

This was the perfect getaway that our family needed. Thanks to the host and Vrbo for pairing us with the perfect match. Love the place and even the children was able to enjoy the outdoors and away from their electronics.

Weekend away

We really enjoyed the property! The access to the lake was wonderful along with the proximity to towns. It made for a great balance of activity and peacefulness. The size of the house was perfect with so many options for a big group!

Peaceful lakefront property

Our extended family had plenty of room to relax and spend time together in this beautiful property. We enjoyed being along Lake Superior and having our private beach access along with being in the woods and seeing lots of wildlife.

Lovely relaxing time with family

Thanks for a relaxing quiet time at the cabin, much needed. We stayed close, hiking nearby waterfalls, beach time, river kayak time, playing games indoors/outdoors. Cabin living space, kitchen are well stocked and essentials provided for.

Spacious Fun and Peaceful

Kris was super responsive and helpful! The property is tucked away in a very peaceful corner right on lake Superior. We had a full house and it was definitely large enough to accommodate everyone. Highly recommended if you have a large group!

Amazing property

This place is everything you could ask for. Quite area, massive living space, quiet and on the lake front with a basically private beach. Close to Duluth if you want to go into town. Kris was an amazing host and responsive at every turn. My group does this early and this was one of the top 3 properties we’ve ever seen and for a great price. Would go back again.

Memories to Last a Lifetime

We were thankful the owner was so welcoming and accommodated our large 4 families! The house was spacious, and offered fun for all ages! Direct access to Lake Superior, provided a unique experience of hopping waves and body surfing. A nearby pocket of water branching off the Lake and surrounded by beautiful beach sand, provided swimming for all ages and memories to last a lifetime! Excellent!!

We held a family bachelorette party for my daughter. There we 13 women ages from 24-65. The house was perfect. Large enough for us to sit and play games and also sneak away to a quite place. The kitchen was perfect. The house was clean and the beds were fantastic. All 13 women were very happy and impressed with the property. The host was very responsive. I would recommend this for large family gatherings. Thanks for the memories. :)

Fabulous Space for our Big Family

Three generations of our extended family had a wonderful time in this home! There was plenty of room for all of us, the kitchen was lovely and spacious, and there were lots of indoor and outdoor spaces for all of us to hang out. The grandkids loved the bunk room at the top of the house as well as the game room in the garage. We didn't need to bring any games from home as there were plenty of indoor and outdoor games provided. The property itself was beautiful with a short walk down to Lake Superior. I would highly recommend this property for your next family gathering.

Spectacular Family Vacation

Our family stayed here over the 4th of July. I was a bit skeptical when we were winding our way back on dirt roads. We were captivated by how big the house was. Our kids were already there and had put away all the food in the pantry. The property was still quite wet from all the rain they recently received. We did use the beach down the road for the bonfire on the 4thofJuly. The kitchen was one of my favorites. It had windows on both sides. We really appreciated the games and the electronic dart board. Everyone had their own bedroom. This place made beautiful memories for our family.

Great place- intruding neighbors

We stayed at Kris' property for the weekend of our wedding. Kris was easy to get ahold of and a joy to work with. The property was perfect for our large group and had plenty of room. FYI- the neighbors are an older retired couple and will call the owner if you do anything in the slightest. We had a very small and tame rehearsal dinner outside for 20 minutes and they called. I recommend the property, but if you have kids or even a big group it felt like we were walking on eggshells

Bachelorette Weekend getaway!

We had such a blast with our bach group!! This was a great location for us to feel secluded and tucked away to have our own space. We had plenty of space for all of us to sleep, plus some! There was a total of 17 of us. We got a party bus to come take us out on the town in Duluth on Saturday and bring us back in. Ubers/Lyfts can be tricky in the area. Kris was SO responsive and great to work with, he made the experience of staying here a breeze. We wish the weather would have been better to experience the beauty of the surroundings and Lake Superior, but we still made the most of it! Would love to come back one day :) Thank you for everything!

We had a Great Time!

Our extended family of 14 (ages 2 - 70+) had a wonderful week. The kids really enjoyed the beach and the many moods of Lake Superior. We had never been on the south shore, so were a little surprised with the brown water, but it did not stop us from enjoying the private beach. The house is very fun with lots of rooms. We especially appreciated the dining area where all of us could eat together. The kitchen is large enough for the many cooks and the catwalk over the kitchen added more fun. The beds were very comfy (it would be nice to have blinds/shades to help the little ones sleep) and great up-north furnishings. We had lots of fun playing ping pong and pac man. We also had a ton of fun hiking at Amnicon State Park and also at the mouth of the river near the property. This is a unique and very private property which we loved and Kris is great. We hope to return!

Amazing unique home on Superior

This unique property on Lake superior was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen had all the necessary cookware and utensils which allowed us to cook meals for 7 adults. The path down to Superior from the house was fairly easy and not too far. The beach was sandy and fun to explore. The house is 3 miles off the paved road and just before you turn on to Sage Rd, theres a road to an old unused boat launch that you should explore. It is where you’ll access a very large Sandy beach where the Amnicon river meets Superior - this is a great place to hang out. The house has a propane fire place in the family room and a spacious dining room and sun room. There is an unscreened porch off the family room where we hung out at night and watched dear wander the property. The beds were comfortable and they were plenty to choose from. The owner was attentive and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. My family and I agree that we would rent this home again. Sidenote: we visited two great Wisconsin state parks that were close by; Amnicon and Pattison. Amnicon has a long winding waterfall and Pattison has a 170 foot waterfall. Both offer details of the geological history in the area. Enjoy!
