Great experience

Pros: Comfortable, nicely decorated, clean, great shower!
Cons: Breakfast was mediocre at best.
Location: We were visiting family. Went to the renaissance and mall of america.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise It was our first time in the St Paul area and I was a little nervous about not staying at a Big Name chain hotel. But this hotel was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, pillows, awesome shower. The only negative is that our room window was adjacent to the pool. Luckily only a few people came to use the pool. And there was no hot tub. We will definitely stay here again, just ask not to be by the pool!

Clean and comfortable, avoid if you have allergies

Pros: Clean, modern, nice staff, free breakfast
Cons: Add shuttle service, have pet-free floors
Location: nothing nearby
I didn't know dogs were allowed in the hotel, or I wouldn't have booked. Otherwise, it was a good hotel - clean, good amenities, toiletries, and nice restaurant. It would be GREAT if they added shuttle service. The walls are very thin so be prepared to hear lots of outdoors and indoors noise.

Hotel was listed as .9 miles from our destination. ..NOT the case! Ended up having to drive and pay to park twice. Breakfast, if you want to call it that, was horrible. There weren't even clean dishes to eat off of. A lot of crumbling from other guests at breakfast as well.

Excellent service. Had a blimp in our stay as far as the hotel advertised Shuttle service to and from our wedding reception and never told us they no longer offered that service. All our guest stayed here thinking they could drink at the open bar wedding and get a free, safe ride back. Very hectic that they didn't not have management on site on weekends and the young staff has zero idea what. To do!! Our rooms were clean, large. Non smoking! Very nice.

Pro's : Staff was incredible, rooms were clean, nice patio area to sit in. Cons : A ways a ways from stuff to do, traffic noise is a bit load.

High Hopes Dashed!

Pros: Nothing. Even a Starbucks was around 5 miles away.
Cons: Tear it down and build a water park.
Location: Industrial/yucky. NOTHING to do nearby.
Began with check-in...had to make a pit stop to use the restroom and was rather aggressively questioned by the Desk Clerk about whether I was going to be checking-in. If I wasn't I still would have used the restroom because its a basic human function. Strike 1. For the cost of the room the "remodeled" hotel was in need of, well, remodeling. Scratched furniture, graffitti etched on the elevator doors added to the charm. Overall, not worth the rate. I will not stay here again.

Nice hotel with great staff.

Found the hotel on Expedia.com. We had a wonderful three night stay. We asked the front desk to have maintenance quiet an a/c unit. When we returned to the room in the afternoon, the unit was fixed. Their restaurant menu is very good.
