Nice hotel for reasonable price

Pros: Location, neatness, price, and staff
Staff was very friendly and professional, quickly responding to our requests. Premises, including room were very neat and clean.

Nice hotel near Amalie Arena

Pros: Location and free bre
Cons: Bedspread and chair were soiled.
Location: Hotel is less than 4 miles to Amalie Arena.
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful answering questions. Uber ride to Amalie Arena was $10.12 each way. I saved on parking. Hotel is conveniently located with many dining options nearby. Nice free breakfast was served in the morning. Room had a refrigerator and microwave.

Pros: Cleanliness, Check in staff, and general pleasantness of staff and area.
Cons: any improvement would only enhance the experience - but it is very good as it stands
Had intended only a one night (transit) stay, but was surprised by the standard of the hotel and we decided to use it for our base during our Tampa visit

Infested with cockroaches

Our room was infested with cockroaches. We were told we would not get a refund from Expedia or the Hotel. Please avoid this hotel.

Should be called WORST WESTERN

I had a 3 day stay, on 2nd day of stay a guest crashed into an electric pole. All electric out from 7pm-7am, no backup generator for anything. Hallways pitch black no emergency lights, no wifi, no phone usage to go to another hotel, no uber or lyft cause phones were dead. It was around 10pm when Front desk staff had given info. No manager on site... George Casanova, General manager,reprimanded me like a child. Said no refunds or discounts, we could have left in the middle of night. No compassion, and horrible customer service, PLEASE DON'T SUBJECT YOURSELF TO THIS TREATMENT.

We apologize that your visit coincided with the unfortunate accident that caused a power outage at our hotel. Immediately after the electrical pole went down, we notified the electric company. However, at this point, it was completely out of our hands, and we had to rely on the electric company to repair the issue in order to have power again. As owners of the hotel, we were also very unhappy with how long it took to get the power back. Our guests' satisfaction and happiness is our #1 priority, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it caused.

Bad Stay

We were without power for 24 hours at the hotel. There were also roaches in the room and you can tell that housekeeping definitely smokes cigarettes in some of the room when they are cleaning as you smell it when you walk by and they are in there.

In regards to your comments about the accommodations, we can guarantee that the housekeepers are not smoking in the rooms. If that were the case, there would be immediate disciplinary action from our management team. Our hotel offers smoking rooms, so more than likely this is perhaps what you walked by. We regret that we failed to meet expectations but appreciate your valuable feedback.
