Inappropriate as an hotelPosted Jun 8, 2015
The place looks like a rundown house, cluttered with old, used furniture. The place is not clean. It is a bed for the night if you have no other option.

Ok hotel for couple of nightsPosted May 26, 2015
The hotel itself is an older building with that typical smell and steep staircase, but our room was clean with the working hot water and bathroom. Julie - the owner is a nice and kind lady but unfortunately I can't say the same thing about the young man who served our breakfast on the day of our departure. He seriously looked like we're bothering him for wanting to eat and when we asked for bread to toast, he replied there is none as they haven't done the shopping! To sum up, it's an OK place to stay for a night but I wouldn't go back again.

Hendrewen hotelPosted May 17, 2015 on Hotels
Seems like b&b or a bedroom in a family. Door of chamber not secured, house old, personal kind breakfast good. Français ressemble plus à une chambre d'hôte ou familiale , vieillot, porte chambre pas sécurisé, lavabo trop petit, petit déjeuner correct.

A Good Night's Sleep.Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed for B & B overnight night for a funeral. Comfortable beds. We booked an evening meal which was well priced and exellent with a cosy woodburner to warm us. Our full English breakfast was cooked to perfection (with the eggs just right)to set us up for the day. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Popular with the locals which is always a good thing. Lovely scenery all around.

Room had all the expected amenities evening meal was prebooked and well cooked the cheesecake was best I have ever had! Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Very good value for money. Lovely walks to be had from the end of the road. Very helpful hosts with good knowledge of the area

This is my 2nd stay at the Hendrewen Hotel and i forgot to leave a review the first time, you are always made to feel most welcome and it's like being home from home,my dog Bindi made friends with the owners dog Rosie, the locals in the bar always make time to chat to you,the cooked breakfast is one of the best i have had.The hotel in general is basic but very clean but for the price you pay don't expect the ritz.Look forward to my next stay here.

Perfect.Posted Mar 1, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel was perfect for my needs. Somewhere to stay overnight while I visited my aunt and saw to some business. It was clean, had great facilities, a huge, wonderful breakfast, very friendly owners and suited my pocket. Perfect.
