Location: Good shopping nearby and London Road very cosmopolitan
A great hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything was good and we also had a really nice breakfast

NEVER AGAIN - Terrible Terrible Hotel- Use NOVOTEL

Pros: Leaving it. Knowing I will go back to NOVOTEL or Jurys Inn
Cons: Everything. Where does one start.
I thought I would give this hotel one more chance, and boy I wish I hadn't. I paid for a king size room, a large bed, what I got, was two single beds joined together with a cover. After a long hard day, I thought I would get some well earned rest. Now just imagine trying to sleep on a two single beds joined up together, having not paid for a king size bed. To make matters worse, the bathroom fan kept whirring all night. A good nights sleep I did not get. I didn't complain, (more fool me) as on my last visit, nothing ever gets done about it. And try getting a drink at the bar. 5 staff, 2 customers, they all walk away. We both just looked at each other. Oh, and the bar manager was one of them.

Things that go bump in the night.

Pros: The location, the room, the view.
Cons: Fewer people letting themselves into our room while we slept.
Our booking was briefly lost, though another room was found for us within 5 minutes - which was great. Unfortunately, at 1:30am, while we slept, another set of guests - three men - entered our room. After we shouted at them a bit, more out of confusion than anything else and perhaps using stronger language than was necessary, they said they were very sorry to have woken us, and beat a swift retreat. It seems they had been given a working keycard, so obviously not all the staff were aware that we'd been given the room at the last minute. I'm sure it was a one off, but I'm also sure a more nervous guest would have keeled over with fright. To be honest, I had a fairly restless night after that. Otherwise, a lovely hotel!
