Too warm

Posted Aug 18, 2017
It is best to avoid the hotel in summer as there is no AC. Room was too warm even at 18c at night with window open. Breakfast good on day 1 n not so good on day 2. Stella served in ordinary glass rather than Stella glass, not impressed at all. Too many classes booked ahead at the pool!

Beautiful surroundings and super friendly staff

The hotel was fantastic great facilities and super staff. Swimming pool a little small but big enough to accommodate the people wanting to chill by the pool. Treatments were excellent and reasonably priced.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly stagf

Overall stay was absolutely brilliant, on the first night of stay however was charged twice for accommodation as issues with systems, left worried over the stay at the hotel but the staff were very very useful and incredibly professional to help, still waiting for refund

Disppointed - poor value for money.

Extremely friendly check-in but downhill after that. Room was very tired. Bathroom had chips in enamel of sink and bath as well as the sink surround. Towels were hard. Insufficient staff in restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Not the quality I expect from a Marriott - poor value for money.

Golf, Business and Pleasure

Posted Apr 12, 2017 on Hotels
If you want a high-class hotel with attached sports facilities, this is the place. It's part of a pleasant golf course with nice rolling hills and great views. If you're renting clubs just check the shafts - mine were very whippy. There's a large pool area with hot tub, steam room and sauna - that's quite unusual. The food is reasonable, though avoid the very messy chicken sandwich. They charge for WiFi in the rooms, so just access it from the lobby where it's free.
