Convenient to Barber Motorsports Museum

Don't stay at this hotel, its NASTY !!!

Pros: We managed to escape.
Cons: Maintenaance, cleanliness, staff attitude and knowledge.
Location: We were in town for the Barber Vintage Festival.
There is nothing quite like getting to your room at 9 pm wiped out after a great day and finding the biggest roach you have ever seen on the ceiling directly over your bed. My son and I thought we would be clever and try to capture and remove it, but it was more difficult than we thought. So, we looked under the 2 places it could have gone when it ran down the wall and behind the furniture. We discovered even more horror under the bed, in the form of small pieces of what looked like old food scraps and a few hard candy pieces. At this point, I decided to see if they could get maintenance or housekeeping to do something about it, only to be turned away on both attempts. No other rooms were available in the hotel, so we were 'stuck' with that room, if we chose to stay there for the night. We chose to leave and hope for the best. Fortunately, we found a place that was much nicer almost directly across the street. Given the nasty nature of the contents of the room, including the uninvited guests and the leftover food, I was expecting the staff to be sympathetic at the least. That was not the case. The level of apathy displayed by the front desk staff was almost inconceivable. Do NOT stay at this hotel, it is absolutely nasty and unclean.

Good for the time stayed

They were renovating. So there was noise on the dates I stayed. Then at night the workers were loud, they were drinking, and very annoying. The room itself was great.

The room had a Kitchenette but no plates, silverware, pots, etc.

The staff was very courteous and the room was clean. It was a good deal for a one night stay. The staff made me feel welcome and was helpful in telling me about the city.

Service was great the ladies at the front desk were awesome...room was dirty upon arrival and floors made my son's feet black. Unfortunately won't be back more for upkeep of building than service.

I was not able to stay because my room was given to someone else even though I had booked it 1 month in advance.

Great place for a quick stay

Everything was nice! The only thing I didnt like is that there was no one at the front desk during checkout.
