Quick check in, pleasant staff, very clean room. Walking distance to restaurant & movie, some shopping. Free breakfast which was pretty good. Loved the night light in the bathroom on the hair dryer. Nice touch. Only complaint was the fire alarm went off about midnight, we were asleep. It stopped & then about 10 min. later it happened again. It ended up being a false alarm, fire department showed up, however everyone was confused on what was happening. Not knowing what was going on, would be nice if hotel had some kind of PA system to inform guest if that or any other kind of situation was taking place in the hotel.

Very Comfortable Beds

Not your typical boring looking hotel. Really pretty carpet, beds, etc. Very comfortable beds! The tub drained slowly, but it did drain. Nice, clean room

Just your average Hotel

We travel a lot and I had been to this area prior and researched all the area Hotel extensively prior to this trip. This Hampton Inn generally came up near the top of the User Ratings so we gave it a shot. Now that we've finished out 3 night stay here I JUST DON"T GET IT, and don't understand how this can be so highly rated. Not that it a bad Hotel, nor did we have a horrific experience there, but its in no way shape or form a 4.7 rating Hotel! The Hotel is relatively new so that could have had some effect on others rating however we found numerous issues including several problems in our bathroom. Its a given that many travelers are disrespectful pigs however areas of Hotel always seems a bit unorganized, especially the Breakfast area, the Pool area and the outdoor Patio. As for the internal areas, each day I had to go find someone to clean-up standing liquids that had been spilled outside the 2 elevators on both our floor and the lobby floor. Several of the employees I tried to communicate with during the week didn't even speak English, so that was also not helpful. Out of curiosity we ventured over to Hotel Indigo and the Aloft Hotel nearby to check them out. Both would have been a far better choice for us (and for the same price). And both are in more attractive & quieter areas that this Hampton which is basically sitting in the middle of a Commercial & Shopping area surrounded by pavement and cars.
