No hot water

When I arrived after a long day at work, I wanted a shower. The water was ice cold. I called the front desk around 10pm, they said they were working on it and it would be back on shortly. I called around 11, was told it was working, that I just had to let it run because it takes a while for the pipes to warm up - I let it run 15 minutes - still cold. I called around 1am, the said they were going to turn it back on. I asked if they were going to turn it off again, they said no. It would have been nice if they had told me there was a problem when I checked in.
