We called to check in early for (2pm) and were told we could not as the room was not ready, no worries. We went to check in to the hotel at 3:45pm (45 minutes after check-in time) and were given room 138, we drive over, park and go into the hotel open 138 and someone is living in the room! All clothes, bed not made, toiletries, shoes etc. Luckily no one was in the room when we entered. Went to get a new room (106), key does not work, got a new key, finally into the room and the bed had SAND in the sheets! To top it off, in the morning we opened the blinds for a little light and the lobby area looks directly into our room and some guy was sitting on a bench watching us. Woke up in the morning to leave and there were broken down cars in the parking lot and several bottles filled with urine! We would NEVER return here.

Nice room for an older hotel. Staff was friendly enough but the place was putting up ilegal immigrants. They were hanging out in the hallways.. singing in the lobby and using the gym as a playground for their kids.. literally families in there with kids jumping and hanging all over the equiptment like it was a playground. I don't recommend this hotel.

The a/c and heater unit was missing the knob so it wasnt able to be turned at all. The room was not cool enough. The curtain did not have the ability to close, so our room was like daylight all night due to a light outside

Property is insecure and unsafe. Doors into property from some parking areas are never locked. Some hallways are unlit at night. I used my phone flashlight to navigate and find the way to the desk. I tried to exit to outside and almost became locked in an inner courtyard because the door locked behind me. Fortunately a different door into another hallway was unlocked. While there are numerous indications of suspended, incomplete construction, there was none taking place on the two weekdays of my stay. The room had no lights at either bedside. There were no towel racks in the bathroom or in the room. There was a small wardrobe to hang clothes but no hangers. The “deluxe” room had no closet. A tarp over an unused outdoor venue in a parking area was about to fly off. The room Hvacs were noisy and had to run continuously to maintain a room temperature in the low 70s. The drapes only covered about half of the windows. TV had no access to local or most cable stations. To sum up, Seaport Resort and Marina in Fairhaven, MA, is an insecure property that disregards safety, and the quality of my room was atrocious.

Not the greatest experience. No sound proofing which makes it super noisy in the rooms. Bed was not very comfortable. Needs more outlets. Was an ok place to stay close to the ferry but would not return again.

Paid for early check in and also checked in online to speed up the process. Nothing was ready. The room had no AC, the TV had no channels and the phone wasnt working. By the time I was actually in my room, it was 12:30pm.

Pros: It’s in a beautiful area The staff were all very accommodating Cons: The property is quite run down, and our particular room was in need of a serious renovation. Wire moldings were hanging off the walls, peeling wallpaper, non-working thermostat, etc. All were manageable but disappointing. While we never felt unsafe in the hotel or in the area the rear hotel parking lot entrance had a key reader but the door was never locked so anyone could enter from the back of the hotel

Buyer beware of this property. When we arrived we spoke with a nice person who directed us to the parking Lot. When we arrived at the side door, it had electrical tape propping the door open as random people entered in and out. As we walked in the carpets were filthy and the hallways were in severe need of cleaning. When we arrived to our “suite” the door was missing the latch for the bolt. With easy access to the building and people walking through the halls all night that was definitely terrible! We requested another room which he gladly obliged but my suite became a regular room and they were unwilling to refund anything despite the downgrade. As you can tell this room was not much better. This was by far my worst experience at a hotel ever.

The previous reviews are right: it is a very noisy location. We stayed from Sat to Sun and the super loud music was going on until Midnight! You cannot sleep if you don’t have earplugs! The loud AC also made a sound in the morning like a fire alarm. The deluxe studio didn’t have a kitchenette as the advertised images insinuated. This was very disappointing since we brought food for a breakfast and planned on cooking. The room was big but completely not equipped. The most annoying thing was the fact, that the curtains were to small to cover the very dirty windows-no privacy and no rest in the morning! The bathroom was big but has neither counter top nor cabinet where you could put your cosmetic bag. I mentioned it’s our anniversary-the staff didn’t react or do anything! Very poor! I know for sure we won’t come back!

I would not recommend this place to anyone! Room keys stopped working, TV didn’t work, A/C kept freezing up and housekeeping is basically on a you ask for it basis. We had to moved to a different room because of the A/C and we asked for someone to fix the tv and we were told someone was coming…never saw anyone. We will definitely NOT be staying here again!!

The location is lovely but the corridors to the rpooms have old, ugly, dirty carpet and though the room we were in was nice, you could see especially in the recently renovated bathroom that details were skipped--the sink base was contoured unfinished wood with prefab shelves below and floor tiles were used as baseboard with wads of grout. I like the place, but it's a nice average motel in a great spot.

very old hotel. They had no elevator. Nothing was up to date. The front desk person was cool, but staff thru out was not pleasant. It was actually sort of weird when you smile and greet someone, and they literally did not speak back. I wish I would have personally looked into the hotel before booking, someone else booked it for me. I would have NEVER picked this hotel if I knew how old and Un updated this property was...

The only issue I had was that the wifi is terrible. Staff said new units are expected so we will see. Also parking lot could use a few lights.

The room was clean and in better condition than the hotel itself. The pool was very nice and the kids enjoyed it. Unfortunately it is not a great hotel for kids, however, since there is a large outdoor bar with insanely loud live music until 11. If you need to fall asleep before 11 you may want to make another choice.

The price for the rooms is too high for the quality of the rooms and service, they were clean but not in good condition, the reception service was quite poor, I asked when I made the reservation to pay at check in, but I was told that the rooms were already charged to my Credit Card. I also requested an invoice at the end of our stay, and I was told that Expedia was going to send it, to this day I have not receive it. Overall pretty disappointed of the service and facilities. I would not recommend this place.

Stayed here the night before taking the New Bedford Ferry over to Martha’s Vineyard. Easy 4 min drive in the morning. It’s located right in a marina. Nice. No breakfast available there, so you can get something at a few places down near the ferry.

No sleep in this clean room.
Nice location and clean room. No TV remote and TV would not turn on. Since room phone was broken needed to walk to desk for assistance (quickly got remote from desk and apologies). VERY loud band directly outside of room played until 11pm and then VERY loud people returned to room to party at 2:30am and proceeded to party for a couple of hours.

Last minute get away
We had a very nice comfy stay. The staff was great! The house keeper staff were so helpful always had a smile. And we were able to bring the dogs. We would definitely recommend this place.
