Great B&B 5 minutes walk from the Cliffs Pavilion

Posted Apr 30, 2018
Lovely big open plan room, big 4 poster bed, large bathroom with bath with shower option at end of bath and glass shower panel. Mirrored double wardrobe, armchairs, tea and coffee making facilities and tv. The bed was really comfortable and there were all the usual amenities eg hairdryer, iron, ironing board etc. Nothing not to like for £79. The breakfast was the usual cereal, toast, jams marmalade’s help yourself cooked breakfast and juices tea and coffee. The all male staff at breakfast were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price by the way. One small footnote is that I asked the guy who I assumed might be the owner if all the rooms were as big as ours, (no. 18), and he said no. All in all a very good stay. We will use again next time we visit the “Cliffs” Mick & Toni Braintree

Good value for money

Posted Feb 9, 2018
Pros: Location
Cons: Whole place needs a major refurb.
Decor tired, cracked and broken floor tiles in bathroom. Radiators hidden behind furniture. Free street parking if you can find it. No lifts. Fine for a night or two. Beds clean and comfortable, could do with more than one towel in bathroom.

Traditional little B&B with friendly helpful staff! Ideal location about 5 mins walk to town centre and train station. Loved the cracking help yourself breakfast too! Good value for money

My two night stay at the illfracombe house hotel

Posted Jan 3, 2018 on Hotels
Very clean & tidy super hosts not sure how to describe the establishment as a hotel or guest house if I was looking to stay in a guest house I would describe it as truly magnificent if I was looking for a hotel I would be disappointed.m

Good seaside hotel

Posted Dec 21, 2017
Pros: See above.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: A trip into Leigh-on-Sea and a visit to the Oak Tree Vegetarian Restaurant should be a must.
Good staff, lovely room, excellent location, nice breakfast, competitively-priced and spotlessly clean. Little more to add. If visiting Westcliff do give it a try.
