Older hotel, decent condition.

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Staff attitude
The staff gets a 3 of 5 due to a bit of an attitude from the room service guy, valet and lady a checkout. Not terrible, but given their job, unacceptable. Clean and quiet when we stayed. Good location near several freeways. I would stay again as it was a good value.

Nice hotel. Close to many location (Detroit, Royal oak, Birmingham), staff are friendly and the room was spacious and clean.

Not At All What I Expected

Pros: The location, the view from the room (I was on the 7th floor), and the overall atmosphere. Very classy.
Cons: Access to the parking garage. The front was blocked off and the entrance was around the back way.
Location: I was surrounded by a lot of convenient food venues and had access to the various highway arteries of the city.
After reading the reviews prior to my arrival, I expected an unfriendly staff, a not-so-tidy room, and overall negativity regarding my stay.....I found no such thing!! The staff was attentive and friendly, going out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable. The room was exceptional, immaculate even. My stay was most enjoyable, and the hotel itself was incredible, especially for the price I paid per night. The next time I come to Detroit I would definitely be staying here and would proudly recommend the hotel to others. Maybe those who left negative comments either had the wrong staff....or the wrong hotel.

Very nice but....

Everything was wonderful but parking in the ramp is very confusing trying to find where the hotel's actual parking spots were at. Also, it was nice to have in-room service, but I felt it was way over priced. 2 sandwiches and 2 apple pie ala modes were around $45.00 with the automatic 18% gratuity.

Nice hotel

I thought this hotel was in the perfect location. I had a rental car so it was easy to get around Detroit. Parking is free here so that's why I opted for this location over a hotel Downtown. The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

No free wifi!!

I was really surprised I had to pay for wifi. A hotel of this caliber should offer free wifi. Also, the sink calk was splitting. I don't expect to see that in a hotel that charged $250 per night!

dissappointed

The hotel was beautiful and room service was great until after receiving our meal they left the ranch , we called down to let them know and they said they would bring it right up and never came .
