We had a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast with plenty of choices for everyone.
All of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to book the Seacrest Hotel again if we are in the area.

The hotel is very grand, in a great location, facing Southsea Promonade.
Breakfast is very good, overlooking gardens through a columnade.
The rooms are quite large with high ceilings.
The single beds are 3ft wide. Too narrow for a big person to sleep comfortably.
The ensuite was fitted out by a cowboy.
Tiling poor. Slippery wall tiles on the floor. No soap tray in the shower. No refill silencer in cistern. Fan sounds like a gas turbine.
No design input.
£5 parking; £5 wifi (one hour free); £12.50 breakfast. The extras add up.
But the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Overall it was clean but very basic.
Dont feel it was worth £74 for one night without breakfast maybe about £40 would have been better but it was comfortable.
Also parking is not ideal as they are limited hotel parking spaces and if they are full you have to park in BnQ across the road. The car was secured but was slightly nervous as nearby were youths hanging around the car park on bikes etc.
Only slight annoyance was the fact that at 3am there was a disruption from other guests running along the corridor screaming but that isnt exactly the hotels fault.

Lovely room & great location.
Enjoyed The Florence Arms just round the corner - especially as second round was 'on the house'.
Just off the seafront so early morning walk along to Old Portsmouth.
Would use this place again.

Southsea is Portsmouth’s Victorian seafront; it offers a swimming complex, two distinct shopping districts, and plenty of open green spaces, including the expansive Southsea Common. Southsea Castle, built by Henry VIII in 1544, defended the coast from invaders during multiple wars, and features underground tunnels and a towering lighthouse.
