“I had a wonderful 4 night stay. A quick trip with my daughter who was staying with a student friend at St FX.What a wonderful, quaint spot on the water. Easy to get to, all the amenities needed, and very friendly hosts.Will love to return at another time”

“Perfect place to spend time with our adult children. Brendan and staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed to ensure our time there was perfect. ”

“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“Homesteader Lodge is a beautiful property and home, directly on the lake. We loved that it was pet-friendly too!The house had everything we needed, including a wonderful hot tub, just off of the screened in porch. It was too cool for us to use the porch but it would be lovely in warmer weather. The beds were very comfortable and the house was exactly as pictured. Bathrooms were clean, with plenty of hot water. The kitchen had lots of dishes and cookwear, as well as new appliances. One thing I……
