Convenient

We stayed here BC it was walking distance to NRG stadium. It was perfect! The staff was very helpful and nice. My only complaint is they don't have Queen size beds. Other than that it was great!

Close to NRG stadium

Pros: Close to stadium, easy access from interstate.
Easy access from interstate. The staff was friendly. My room was ready early. The room was clean and well decorated. No complaints.

Each member of the staff throughout the hotel was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. Also, the hotel's proximity to NRG stadium was amazing - it was so nice to be able to walk a few blocks to get to the game and not have to worry about parking and traffic. The free in-room WiFi and free hotel parking were a plus, and the pool looked really nice, especially in the hot Texas summer. However, the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovations. While we were there, it looked like they were doing some surface re-touches (repainting the walls of the lobby, etc.). The room bathroom was extremely small and had very old-school ceiling tiles that had what looked to be black mold around the edges. No HBO or premium channels in room; no refrigerator in the room; no way to get food after the event at NRG Stadium as room service ended at 11 and the bar was absolutely packed - so much so people were overflowing into the lobby to have a place to drink their beer before going to bed; breakfast the next morning was a disaster: long line to be seated even though half of the tables in the restaurant were open, really tight and small area to access the buffet which wasn't being monitored so most of the trays of food were empty, etc.

Requested a king bed, received 2 double beds. Which is not very comfortable for my 6'7'' husband to sleep. Requested a view, received a view of the parking lot. Room smelled musty and humid because the Air conditioning did not work properly. Hallway smelled like someone was smoking (not cigarettes either). Could not turn off light on balcony so there was a crack of light through the curtains all night. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

needs some TLC

Stayed at the CP for the boat show in Houston. I expected quite a bit more and was sadly disappointed. On a good note the staff was awesome. The hotel is in poor condition and I would not recommend it given the state of the property.

Hotel not ready for a huge crowd!

Therr were NO snack vending machines, there were NO snack machines. The hotel bar was severely understaffed after am event at NRG Stadium (U2 concert). There were long lines everywhere. I requested extra towels twice that day and they never came with fresh towels. Great location but the hospitalilty was not there.

Nice hotel close to Houston livestock show

Cons: a ride to the gate at the houston livestock shoe
The rooms were nice and everyone very nice. Dinning room was good for breakfast. We had a mix up on the room with a internet reservation and they made it all good and at a better price.

Beyond disappointed. Rip-off

The hotel seemed to have purchased the hotel next door and past it off as Crowne. The decor was dated, elevator ancient, rooms looked pieced together. Absolutely not worth the price they charge. NO SHUTTLE SERVICE, terrible service at the breakfast bar, and no valet for almost $200 a night?
