The hotel rooms are run down, not Hilton quality.

Pros: Convenience to my destination.
Cons: Staff training in customer service.
Cookies were not offered upon arrival, they had none. Isn't that the Doubletree welcome? Had room change due to leak from floor above, while washing hands leak was pouring on my head from above floor. Was opting for auto check out, staff called me down stating my credit card was no good, to come down and pay for room, I knowing it was an error ask to speak to a manger, at that time staff stated it worked! Due to her own error, instead of apologizing for mistake she took defensive stand, denying she had stated my credit card was no good. Overall the experience was not good. I am a Hilton's honor member and stay with Hilton brand, but there are better hotels in third world countries and much better customer service elsewhere. The staff was non apologizing for all the customer's inconveniences and errors. Will never stay here again, Had stayed here times before and it's never been as bad as it is now. Grimmy tub floor and hair found in tube, I was beyond disappointed. What's more disappointed is that the staff showed no care even after speaking with the Director of rooms. Definitely a lack of customer service in this hotel.

Exceptionally nice hotel.

The room and bathroom was roomy and clean. The comforters and pillows were very cozy. The restaurant food was good and loved the full service Starbucks in the lobby. The location to Lakewood Church was perfect. The price for the room and parking was good. This was our first experience with a Double Tree. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel with Excellent Service

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights while on a business trip. The rooms were large and very comfortable, the food from both the bar and restaurant was delicious, and I was very impressed with the great customer service - especially from the room service staff.

We had a little problem with young guests running in the halls late! And the phone system was out of order! We went to front desk to ask about the running in the halls and all we got for answer was they have a curfew by the front desk personnel!

Staff are nice but don't go over the top to accommodate. Food a Sprig is good.

I enjoyed my stay

I loved the hotel and its location. I was on the 9 th floor with a corner room. It was quiet and peaceful. I hated the fact that i had to pay for parking and it was $24 per night and I was there 2 nights and it was right below the hotel. In addition, no wifi was provided even though I was a hilton member. I was told since I didnt book it directly thru Hilton. I cant be given privelages like those. Good thing my phone gives me 3g hot spot. I used that to get the work done. Other wise I will have to incur an added cost. The food was expensive too , even more if u want it sent up to ur room. They have a starbuck downstairs. I took advantage of thar and bought my breakfast there.

Overall, the hotel was fine. Hilton is a good brand, and I will stay there again. However, $24 per night for parking is not what I would expect for a Hotel in that location. This not Tokyo, London (or even downtown Houston). They charged double for hotel guests what is charged in literally the same parking complex for public parking (only $12 per night).

Needs an update....

This hotel needs a make-over. Air vents were dirty and carpet needed cleaning. Old bedside phone hadn't been cleaned for some time. Air conditioning was hard to regulate. The vent hit the beds directly so were were either freezing or had to turn air temp up or off.
