Location: Shopping, dinning, and medical needs.

Convenient location in need of update.

Pros: Large comfortable Room and bed. Cost. Free on site parking.
Cons: Needs considerable update. Cleaning public spaces and hallways

Convenient location to SW Houston, Galleria, Medical Center, Rice University. Nice large room with comfortable furniture. Older motel in need of updating. Rooms OK but access and public spaces showed significant wear and tear. Amenities and breakfast OK considering lower price of lodging OK for short stay.

Room was uninhabitable. Small bugs everywhere and a few cockroaches as well. Carpet was old, dingy, full of stains, and made the room smell. Walls and ceilings in dire need of patch and paint. Ew!

This is not like any La Quinta I’ve ever stayed in

This La Quinta is a motel. We never felt safe, as there were shady people staying, drinking, smoking, and partying all hours of night. The place is filthy. Stains all over carpet. Non smoking rooms smelled like smoke. Garbage in hallways and stairs. And noise from street, highway, and people, was unbearable. Tiny rooms and bathroom, and you want to sanitize everything the minute you walk into your room. This place needs a major re-haul to look like other La Quintas.

We found the beds very comfortable and the room relaxing. The breakfast was very good and a good variety

Cons: have no smoking rooms

we had asked for a non smoking room but were placed the first night in a smoking room. roaches were every where in the bathroom, the carpet had sticky spots on it and the bathroom had crumbs on the floor. we were placed in a different room the next day which was much nicer

The front desk staff was very friendly. Things were quiet, the pool looked clean. However... There was a large wood roach in the doorway of our room. A loooong black hair was folded into my towel. The hallways smell awful! If you like firm beds, you'll love these. And the pillows are really soft (we had 2 that were ripped as well). The property is seemingly older, but a lot of maintenance could go a long way. The shower head was out of the wall, leaving a hole. Cracks and sunk in places on the ceilings, paint and drywall coming off the walls. The bathtub drain wasn't attached anymore. The hot/cold water handle spun all the way around and falls off. The bottom of the shower curtain was covered in black mildew spots. They do have a later check out, which is nice. And again, all the staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. Other than the bug, unknown hair, and stench in the halls- for the price, it's not horrible. If they gave it some TLC and a little better cleaning, they'd have a better rating from me. I've just stayed in many La Quintas and they're usually in better shape.

horrible

We called and asked to push our reservation back one day. The gentleman on the phone said that would be no problem. We show up and find out that the guy lied, and didn’t move our reservation and also got charged for the night. Horrible staff that couldn’t care less. Never again.
