Nice hotel close to hospital

Walking distance to children's hospital. It is very convenient for my stay with walking distance to children's hospital

MD Anderson followup

Staff is always so pleasant and accommodating when we come to Houston for medical appts at MD Anderson. The beds are so comfortable and the free shuttle is very convenient. Hotel is .25 miles from MD Anderson so it is a nice walk on a nice day also.

Won't return

Hotel staff is very nice, but the lobby lounge is overrun with gnats & mosquitos and we were eaten alive. To top it off, the a/c unit in the room is so loud (on low setting) that it kept waking me up all night that I paid for a hotel I reallly didn't use! I had to get a good night sleep for a 6am led appt and a 4.5 hr drive home - what sleep?!?! Could turn the unit off as it's summer in Houston - would suffocate. This was my 2nd time here & chosen for convenience of being able to walk to medical center, but I won't be back now. Would have gotten bette night sleep in SUV in med center parking garage I think. Waste of $ and bug bites to boot! Miserable!

decent option for suites near the med center.

Things that are good: usable kitchen including stove, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer comfortable fold-out bed in living room (including the bedroom, it was comfortable for 3 adults and our baby) reasonably quiet central AC that works well (not those horrible window units) HBO in HD (some hotels give you Showtime or Cinemax, which is clearly worse) there's a useful med center shuttle that runs frequently Things that are bad: no free breakfast, which almost all hotels in this class provide parking is $12/day with tax small televisions with most channels in standard definition only 2 elevators for a 14-story building....there's always a long wait we stayed on the side facing south, which was very nice and quiet. If you face north, you will have a view of the new much taller hotel being built about 40 feet away and be awoken by construction daily (even on weekends).

Pros: location and staff
very friendly staff-shuttle to hospital excellent Maria in restaurant was especially good. rooms were clean and comfortable. staff was very helpful.

Friendly and convenient

Pros: Friendly convenience.
Cons: The sofa in our room needed repairs. The TV could be larger.
Location: We choose this hotel for access to MD Anderson Cancer Center. But my wife likes the easy access to shopping at the Rice Center.
Easy, frequent, friendly shuttle service to Medical Center and Rice shopping area. VERY comfortable beds. The suites are spacious enough for 4, very comfortable for two. The restaurant has a limited menu but it works for our needs. The TV is a bit small by todays standard but usable. This hotel makes my treatments at the Medical Center almost comfortable.

Good hotel near Med Center.

Pros: Easy parking, both self-parking and valet. Comfortable rooms.
Used this hotel for its close proximity to MD Anderson while having a medical procedure done.

Great hotel!

Can't say enough great things about this hotel! So convenient to the Medical Center and other great areas inside the Loop of Houston. Shuttle drivers are great, rooms are very clean. Only thing missing is continental breakfast of some type but the breakfast buffet is good and at a reasonable price.
