Best in Hospitality
This was our favorite stay in Scotland. From the moment we walked through the front door, we knew this was a special place, not to mention the "magical" gin and tonic! The service, stay and food were exceptional. We will recommend this place to everyone.

We had such a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment we walked in we were treated respectfully and smiles. It felt like I walked into my Grandma's comfortable home. The house is full of antiques and comfortable feather furniture. The bed and pillows were so comfortable too. The selection of tea and coffee in our room was nice too. Plus, a lovely selection of cookbooks were there too. There is an on-site bar and a a beautiful dinning room. I had one of the best Gin & Tonics I have ever had. Don't skip dinner at this fine hotel. I had salmon in a mussel sauce - so divine. The best meal I had on our whole two weeks of traveling. Cristian and her son made us feel so very welcome and important. This is a real gem of a hotel.

Can’t keep this place a secret but ld like to.
This is a gem of a hotel. I have stayed before and will again. The hospitality is excellent. You are treated as an individual by knowledgeable and skilled people. The food is excellent a hugely skilled chef. Dishes are well thought through and executed. It’s a small family hotel worth as a destination in itself.

Lovely lodge hotel. Very attentive and friendly host. Nice comfortable bed and clean room. Interesting arrangements for dinner, with fixed time for pre-dinner drinks, and fixed time for dinner serving. Excellent food, worth the 54 pounds / person. Large selection of whiskeys in the whiskey bar, with advice given to novices like me. Would recommend.

Everything was great. Breakfast was really good, very large (my wife was full before her eggs showed up). The staff (just two people that we met) were very friendly and helpful and nice...I can't say enough good things about them. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

It was like staying at your grandmother's house in the 1950s - floral wall paper, tartan curtains, even a green bakelite phone! The staff were great and the facilities very comfortable. Nice touch having us all meet together then go through to the dining area. Only downside was that it was further out from Fort William that we understood.

Just finished two nights at this gem of a lodge. Small and intimate. Service is impeccable, warm and personal. Breakfast ample, varied and delicious. Dinner is spectacular. Ian and his kitchen team can compete with the best. We travel quite a bit and have enjoyed meals in very fine restaurants. My wife and I agree that the 2 dinners we had at Corriegour rate with the best we’ve ever had, anywhere. The service, food, presentation and stunning views combine for an experience we will always treasure. Thanks to Christian, Ian and their team for doing such a wonderful job.

This property was first class. Christian gave us a warm welcome along with a gin and tonic. Her son Ian is an amazing chef. Dinner was out of this world good. Service top notch. View of loch lochi from dining room priceless. If you stay here don't skip the culinary michelin recommended experience. There is a cute bar and gathering room with fire place. There is also trail across the road so you can walk easily to the loch. Great views and good bonding with my girls skipping rocks. There is a fishing pole and gear near front door if you want to try and catch some trout. Great people. Great property. Great food and drink!

So welcoming. Lovely family run hotel. My sister and I felt at home and were most impressed by the care taken during the pandemic. The meals were amazing and we were never disappointed. The view of Loch Lochy takes your breath away. Thank you for such a perfect stay.

The hotel looked quite tired both inside and out and could certainly benefit from a complete refurbishment including the gardens and grounds. The toilet/shower was so small as to be uncomfortable.

A Gem between lakes & mountains
What a cosy little family run hotel we found in the middle of the lakes and mountains! Extremely friendly yet professional. Very responsive to our needs- ( we were travelling with our son with special needs and mobility issues. The place is full of history. It's an old lodge but well maintained and decorated tastefully. The location is unbeatable and breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel had its own private 'beach' in Loch Lochy as well as its very own waterfall and a bridge in its backyard. Just be prepared for some driving up winding roads to get further north - beautiful nevertheless - you wouldn't regret it! We stayed for 4 nights and ate in 3 nights- a delectable 2 course meal exquisitely presented. Slightly pricey at £44 per adult but ok for special events such as this- children were given a very reasonable discount. If you have certain dietary restrictions/preferences, you might just need to remind them again. Bathrooms are modern and smart, although our final room had a slightly older style bathroom. Very clean and well stocked. A big thank you to Christian, Ian for making our stay so comfortable and the wonderful chef whose food never failed to stimulate our kids who are otherwise a very picky eaters.

Fantastic stay at this lovely family run lodge. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The room was excellent, and had probably the most comfortable bed I had every slept in. The dining room had a stunning view of the loch. The food was absolutely superb, and is prepared by a very talented chef.Can't recommend highly enough, and will definitely return when in the area.

Staying at this hotel was like a trip back in time to an old English Cottage Inn. I felt like I was in a Sherlock Holmes episode. I was greeted with a handshake & an tour of the 12 suit cottage by James who was dressed in a suit and vest. There was a large, very comfortable sitting room where guests could gather and read or talk. My room had a waterfall running a few feet away from one bedroom window and Lake Lochy with mountains overlooking the other window. The room was spacious, the beds and pillows were wonderful, the bathroom had unending hot water and everything, although very new, was still old fashioned English. There was a private path to the Lake with fishing available as well as a walkway to the waterfall and mountain stream draining into the lake. The breakfast was a full English breakfast with your choice of a full complement of cooked normal breakfast items (i.e. eggs + sausage + bacon etc) or fried haddock or Kipper, etc. Everything was served to you at you private table in a dining hall with one whole wall being windows to the Lake and Mountains. Everything in this hotel was authentic old English (think Sherlock Holmes era) down to every last detail (except for the electrical outlets & TV/Wifi, hair dryer, electric tea service, and hot water heaters in the room.) The wifi worked well and there was plenty of free parking. I simply loved EVERYTHING about this hotel and the hotel staff could not have have been more friendly. I will stay again. Worth every penny!

Christian and her staff were just wonderful. The hotel is an old building with all the charm that comes with it. The views are simply gorgeous and the service and food were top notch. Theonly reason for a lower rating was the mattresses. They needed to be replaced a while ago!

Perfect gem by the Loch
This is a true gem of a lodge- nestled behind lovely redwood trees with a brook streaming past and an exquisite garden. The lodge also has a large private beach. The whole place is tastefully decorated while maintaining the interesting history. Comfortable beds - a great place to rest and enjoy yourself. The entire staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and assist with whatever your needs may be. This is also a great place to have as a base to explore other nearby areas by car or take a hike from the lodge. The restaurant was just magnificent! Amazing 4 course meals of the highest quality! I highly recommend you enjoy all your meals here. The dining area is perfect - beautifully set tables with silverware and the loch right outside the panorama windows. Coffee or tea in the cosy parlor or bar. Loved our stay here!!
