“Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.”

“Stayed in the Moon Gazer gypsy caravan. It has ‘lived’ but is cute, quirky and the bed/bedding was lovely. Quiet and private with a bird song orchestra we had lovely weekend drinking locally brewed ale/cider and listening to local ‘turn up and play’ folk musicians. Superb weekend all round.”

“The Oak Inn at Staplow is a really nice place to stay. Very friendly, Food is lovely, Our room was clean lovely comfy bed. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits. Breakfast you choose what you wanted and it was all cooked fresh for you. Great Place glad we found it.”

“Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !”

They were so helpful in arranging an early check-in for us and even found a room where we could get ready before attending a wedding, which made the whole day much less stressful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to help. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. “The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. Included Breakfast was simple, but very good, and you could have ordered from the kitchen at an extra cost. Will definitely recommend.”

“We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location.”

“What a fantastic place to stay. Really lovely room with modern bathroom and all the kitchen facilities you’d need. Super comfy bed and a very peaceful area. The owner is really welcoming and helpful. I stayed 2 days for a work trip but I’d love to go back and make more use of the facilities, maybe stay in one of the hot tub rooms, and see more of the area.”

“I booked a room because it was reasonably priced. And there was no availability in my price range in Stratford upon Avon or Lemington Spa or Warwick. The town is tricky if you are using public transportation. As the buses cut off leaving Stratford upon Avon very early in the evening. So if you want to get back to alcester you would have to take a taxi beyond that point. Buses when I was there in early July only run once an hour. The pub seems like a nice place. But that's not why I was there....
