“A room with a view and a welcome as warm as the setting sun. We had an idyllic night in the Inferno room. Well worth the small upgrade fee to be facing South and enjoy the same view that the vines enjoy all year round. The bed was very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and the Ill Poggerio restaurant is the perfect accompaniment to the tranquil setting. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. The omelette was delicious and made from organic eggs that have a story all to themselves. The team……

One window of the room only had a net curtain, slightly concerned but once I had found it had shutters outside, so leaning out and closing them every night made complete darkness. “Wonderful hotel run by wonderful people. This is the second time that I stay here: Last Summer they rented me a bike for free and I went all around Lake Iseo; this year they offered me a discounted ticket for the famous spa, which is the town’s main attraction. It was a pleasure to talk with the owner of the hotel and share stories with him. And it is always amazing to admire and taste the huge variety of cakes being offered for breakfast. Thank you for the hospitality… and see you again next……

The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended. ”
