Great location, OK roomPosted Aug 29, 2017
The location was great and the staff were very helpful. The room itself was just ok though. Clean but fairly basic without much in the way of amenities. What you're paying for is mainly the location (no view at all but located in the palace). The room itself doesn't warrent the price.

The hotel was difficult to find and quite a walk from where you could be dropped off by a vehicle. Arriving at the hotel there were two flights of outdoor stairs to get to the lobby. It was very noisy into the night due to the bars right outside the door. I had to leave early in the morning and coffee was not even available. Pricy for the bare minimum room. If I were to visit again I would look for another location.

Great LocationPosted Jun 4, 2017
Pros: Great location near the water front and located inside the palace grounds was very cool and inviting, breakfast included is a nice perk.
Cons: A complimentary water or juice for arriving guests would be very nice, also a min-fridge for personal items bought at local stores would be helpful.
Location: Great location near the water front, many restaurants and markets nearby
Just a short walk from the bus station, this quaint boutique hotel located inside Diocletian's palace provides a wonderful backdrop for a great experience in Split. Staff very nice and helpful about everything from activities to restaurant recommendations.

Perfect location to Diocletian's Palace and RivaPosted Nov 2, 2016
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and the location the best if you want to be centrally located. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable.
Location: Location is center of Diocletian's Palace and close to the Riva/waterfront.
The Hotel Slavija is the perfect location if the goal is to be within Diocletian's Palace and close to the Riva. The hotel staff was nice and the room was comfortable. It is possible you may be on the side overlooking a cafe, so there may be noise in the evening; however, you may also hear cathedral bells, depending on the side of hotel, such is the charm of being in the center. However, the windows blocked out a lot of evening noise. The breakfast is simple and tasty, with an option of eggs or pancakes, if a cooked breakfast is desired. Reasonably priced.

Central hotel located in the old townPosted Jul 29, 2016
The hotel is modern, clean and has an excellent location. There is an elevator and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are very friendly and will help you with anything. The hotel is located within the old town of Split in Diocletian's palace so it is mere moment's walk to historical sights. Plenty of restaurants in the area and close to the port.
