On y retournera.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Split

Posted Jul 17, 2016
Pros: The hotel is a small hotel with excellent attention to detail and customer service.
Cons: The hotel is slightly hard to find on arrival. Maybe a sign can be placed in the square directing travelers.
Location: The hotel is located off the square within easy walking distance to the TRG for shopping and the port for excursions or embarking on cruises.
The Vestibul Palace was a beautiful hotel in the center of Split. The staff was so friendly and were quick to go above and beyond of what was expected making great recommendations for dinner and providing so many tips to make our stay memorable. There was a car available at the hotel should you need to get around and the driver was very friendly and knowledgable. The room was spacious and modern and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is slightly off the square which when found was a nice contrast to the busy square. I highly recommend the Vestibul Palace if staying in Split.

Inside the Diocletian's Palace

Posted Jun 18, 2016
Pros: The service was excellent, location stunning!
Location: It is right in the thick of it, inside the Diocletian's Palace
One thing I can say about Hotel Vestibul Palace is that I cannot fault the staff! They were excellent start to finish, and I have no hesitation recommending the hotel based on that alone! We stayed in Villa Dobric, an annexe building 200 meters from the main building of the hotel. On arrival we thought we could find the hotel ourselves, but really had no clue where to go, as it is inside the Diocletion's Palace. So we rang the hotel and they came and found us wandering in circles, helped collect our luggage, showed us where to go, took our car and parked it, all with good grace and good humour. Our room was clean and adequate, breakfast was a decent continental breakfast. Our room in Villa Dobric was a little noisy in the evening, as it was facing onto a square that had restaurants and music, but it didn't bother us too much, as we are good sleepers. When we left we were taking the ferry to Hvar Island, and we asked in the main hotel what the process was for the ferry (we had pre booked tickets online), and I was stunned and impressed that the hotel staff would collect our luggage in the morning, take it to our car, and then park our car in the ferry queue, all while we relaxed and had breakfast. Then they walked us to the ferry where our car was waiting! AMAZING service and much appreciated!

Wonderful location!

Posted Jun 14, 2016
Pros: Location, décor, concierge, comfort, and food.
Cons: nothing I can think of, except to offer eggs for breakfast - we overdosed on bread in Croatia!!
Location: It's in the heart of the older part of town, close to all the restaurants, clubs, and the ancient and historic Diocletian Palace.
This was a lovely hotel, contemporary décor in an old setting, right in the heart of the old city. We stayed in the annex "Villa Dobric," in a top floor room with a loft where the bed was - awesome space, with beautiful views out of every window. Marco, the concierge, was lovely and helpful, and the breakfast on the terrace was terrific!
