Central Split

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast and good wine list.
Cons: The light in the bathroom fills the whole room so if you use it in the middle of the night it can be annoying to your other half.
Location: It's very central, near the harbour and Diocletian's Palace so it's a great base to do a lot of sightseeing and tours from.
We were picked up in an electric car/buggy from the bus station and taken just 5 minutes to the hotel. Everything was very relaxed and taken care of with no fuss and we had a great time here.

Lovely boutique hotel

Great centrally located hotel, just step out of the dining room after breakfast and you're on the old cobbled streets of split, a great experience. staff couldn't do enough, my only criticism would be the size of our room which I thought was a little small for the amount we had paid for it.

Better than 4 stars in Split

Pros: The hotel is very up to date and comfortable. The hotel staff is just wonderful. Everyone I met there was terrific. And the location is just perfect.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Access to the Riva, the Palace, boats for trips to islands, walks up the Marjan hill, restaurants, and more.
I stayed for four nights in April 2016. The staff in the hotel and restaurant is professional, polite, and helpful. The hotel location was very convenient for me and my family. The terrace and the restaurant are both a treat. Room was nice and comfortable. All went well.

Very nice central hotel with great staff

The staff at the Marmont were excellent. They only made recommendations to restaurants that they had verified were verry good. They were helpful in any task. The room was comfortable and clean.

In case you need a parking, a bit inconvenient. You need to check information carefully before your check-in.

Glimrende alternativ i gamlebyen

Tidsriktig og trendy hotell som er godt integrert i den gamle bydelen. Ingen mulighet til å kjøre bil til hotellet, men det er en betalt parkeringsplass ikke så langt unna. Gamlebyen i Split er jo en stor severdighet og kompakt, men bruk Google maps på mobilen for å finne hotellet blant alle smågatene. Flott frokost og hyggelig betjening. Eneste negative var at det stod at badet var desinfisert, noe det ikke var...

What a lovely hotel. Desk and bar/lounge/breakfast staff are very nice and helpful. On check in, I mentioned needing quiet room for sleep and we were accommodated immediately by getting a room on a higher floor. Wish we were there longer than just one night, their rooftop terrace (Floor 2) is lovely.
