Taken in December dusk from the deck of Anthony's restaurant Huntington park in Spokane. Located within a few steps of the Riverfront mall. It is a great The Peacock Room at The Davenport: tres Art Deco chic! Beautiful park located on the south hill of Spokane. September is an ideal month to see all the flowers. Very popular location with many pro photographers around doing portraits. View overlooking the Spokane River. #SpringFun taking a little day walk through Manito, great place to ease the mind on a sunny day Make no mistake, Spokane is not exactly flush with good restaurants, but Luigi's is pretty good. The menu is simple and straight forward, as is the wine list, and although the service was a bit sketchy, they were very pleasant and the main courses were actually pretty good. We ate outside which was very pleasant. Fun and family friendly. Tulips in full bloom #springfun A long autumn drive. Best to come to this park in the evening during the week to avoid the crowds. Not to be confused with the wildly famous drive-in institution in Seattle, and not quite as good, this place is a Spokane mainstay, and worth a visit with the kids when in town. Good burgers and fries, better milkshakes, all within a classic 50's style drive-in. Pretty cool spot. The Red Lion directly across the river from the convention center #treetrove The chicken carbanara was insanely good here! They also had a 5 course/5 wines tasting event going on while we were here which looked fun. Apparently they have these sort of events every Wednesday ($60). Great prices considering the amount of food you get; mine was $16 and included bread and salad/soup A statue of someone previously unknown to me, but it seems Robert John Monaghan was the first student at Gonzaga University here & was later killed in the Samoan jungle in a conflict between two tribes there in 1899. Beautiful gardens here. #green #spokane #manito Tis the season! Rose garden in Spokane I can't even describe how wonderful the air smelled! A perfect day in Spokane! A bit of a little hike very pretty area. Lovely gardens to stroll through Historic old hotel in #spokane #StunningStructures #TroveOn
On the eve of the Winter Solstice, the light was perfect as I walked around the empty carousel of Spokane, WA. Old train terminal and IMAX dome with fall colors. First time being in Spokane. I would really go back. Lots of historical building and great parks to wander around in. This is the power works building with a park to relax in. Down from the water fall Great place to find good views and yummy treats in Spokane. Riverfront park Spokane Beautiful park over looking Spokane Falls. This place is possibly the smallest bar I've been to. Reminds a bit of Grumpy's in Sun Valley, with slightly more relaxed vibe. For a slice of a slightly different side, check this place out. It's an experience. An elephant lamp! The Joy of Running Together sculpture in the park depicting the annual Bloomsday race held each May. Quick picture of the inside of the historic Davenport hotel before the holiday decorations are set up. A must see if you are in the downtown Spokane area. Old world lobby of the grand Davenport. I've lived in Spokane for 10+ years and never knew this beauty was a 5 minute drive from the hood. Spokompton does have some nice features, gotta give it to nature for making this possible! Christmas Lights at the Conservatory A small park with Monroe street bridge and aerial tram cars in the background. Beautiful cathedral that offers tours. The famous clock tower is now lit up with a tribute to our Gonzaga Bulldogs who are now number one on the country and undefeated. An awesome old hotel inside, on a very gray rainy day outside. Neat old vintage clock in front of jewelry shop. Spokane Falls Downtown
