Hotel close to downtown

Posted Jul 24, 2016
Pros: all of the above.
Cons: some updating of rooms and minor maintenance issues to include fresh paint and cleaning issues on entrance area.
Location: plenty of shops, restaurants, brew pubs and coffee shops within easy walking distance.
Very friendly staff. Top notch workout facilities, on par with any major fitness club! Nice restaurant and bar. Hotel shuttle was spot on for short distance trips to downtown shops, restaurants, brew pubs, etc. Covered valet parking close to hotel, 2 minute walk tops if you desire to park yourself. Rooms have a nice charm, somewhat dated, clean and inviting. Overall value with location and amenities was outstanding. Will stay here again.

Rooms above high average because are old. Clean and lovely coffee and tea...super bathrobe for room wear.

Nice affordable hotel right downtown

Posted May 29, 2016
Location is great (right downtown) and the staff was wonderful -- always very attentive and efficient. Historical building that is beautiful. Room (suite) was very large and comfortable. Food at the restaurant was great. I would stay there again.

Older Hotel, Difficult Parking, but Lovely Staff

Posted Apr 21, 2016 on Hotels
Hotel is a historic building and close to a lot of shopping and downtown attractions. The workout facilities and dining options are awesome. However some downsides to be aware of: Parking is nonexistent. Be prepared to valet, and factor it's cost into your decision to stay there. It's also at a busy intersection, so getting to the front of the hotel to valet can take a U-turn or two. Also, the rooms and hotel are lovely, but a bit on the older side...older bedspreads instead of duvets, kind of a hard mattress. Old A/C unit without much temperature control - just lo/med/hi.

The hotel is very nice. No air conditioning in our room....thankfully the weather wasn't too hot. The staff and service was excellent!!! Loved sitting on the patio in the sunshine, enjoying a cold beverage and delicious appetizers.

It was a great location to stay for us. We attended a concert at The Knitting Factory and it only took us a few mins to walk there from the hotel. Didn't have to drive anywhere. It was nice. Would stay there again.

Spokane Club

Posted Mar 9, 2016 on Hotels
The Spokane Club has very helpful staff, beautiful rooms and a grand staircase. My only complaints are the coffee maker used pods with water that never gets hot enough. Room service doesn't start until 7a. There is no counter space in the bathroom.
