We checked out not long after checking in. The train noise was terrible but it was the homeless person that yelled at us from across the street as we walked back from getting coffee that made us feel unsafe. She had a screaming fit yelling “I want my fentanyl tablets!”

Loved it, will for sure stay again! It's downtown, take that as you will but inner city and what goes along with it don't phase me... Homeless people and traffic aside, this place is cool and has a great vibe... Right in the thick of things near all the good food and entertainment, also convenient to the hospitals which is why I stayed as I had an early morning surgery... Great price, cool and friendly staff, awesome decor, twinkle LEDs embedded in the driveway, super comfy beds, would def recommend

Steam Plant was very close to the Knitting Factory, where my friends and I were going to a concert. Less than 5 minutes on foot. The room was very clean. My only complaint was very few plugs in the room for device chargers.

Bathroom set up was great. The sink did drain really slowly and there was hair near the shower drain (appeared to have been removed from the drain and set to the side), but otherwise the room was very clean. I asked for a second floor room and instead got a first floor room but didn't feel like going back in to discuss it. Breakfast was very sparce. Parking was easy and worth the $5 to have my car close.
