Very accomodating

the staff was very friendly and accomodating. My husband broke his foot before we can there, and they were nice enough to put us on the first floor. They also were more than happy to change out our room from king to 2 dbls when we had a friend unexpectedly needed somewhere to stay.

Terrible wifi, friendly place.

I really wanted to like this hotel, because the people who work there are so friendly. The house keeping is solid and attentive. Breakfast is good, and again, served by a very sunny person, who has everything ready before the 6 a.m. official start time. However, the wifi is atrocious. If you remember inexpensive hotel wifi from say, 2006, you'll get the picture. If you are using it for work, as I was, it get's very frustrating. Also, the place is getting a bit run down. The first room I checked into had a malfunctioning toilet. Moved right out of there, no problem... into a room with a broken desk chair. No big thing, but, again, if you are there for work, that's a problem. There's a half dead strip mall nearby where there is one really good Pizza place, Brooklyn Pizza.

Hotel was nice, recently renovated. Looks good.

Overall the room was nice. There was a stand up shower and for a hotel it was a spacious shower. Free Breakfast and it was good.

Key cards

We checked in Friday night and attempted to go to the room but the key cards didn't work for the outside door. This was an issue the entire stay we had to get our keys programmed 7 times. During this issue security escorted my husband to the room to "prove he was staying there" ... unacceptable. Front desk workers could not problem solve and blamed the manager for everything. I ended up having to call the managers cell phone on her day off because the front desk couldn't resolve the issue. She was helpful and apologized just wish we could have talked face to face. She did upgrade us to the suite however we continued to have the same issue with the key card. For the money I paid the continued issue is a concern. We visit the area often and this was not a pleasant experience.

Nice stay. They opened the pool rather late that day. But all over decent stay. Not a 5 star but its good for what you need.
