"Everything was perfect! The host made everything so easy to check in and out. She was wonderful with communication. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. It was so clean. It was perfect for 6 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space and privacy. Definitely recommend. 10/10"
Family friendly lodge located in the Hocking Hills

"We had our whole family vacation here (9 adults and 4 kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. We absolutely loved the house and location. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit! Plenty of space in the pool and we brought our own rafts and pool toys which we left behind for the next groups. The property manager stayed in contact with us and brought us firewood when we asked which was so nice and unexpected! The house was clean and stocked appropriately for an Airbnb/vrbo. We brought a lot of our own stuff in preparation since we know what to expect (paper towel, toilet paper, paper plates, etc). The kitchen is amazing as well! Having 2 ovens was a huge plus for the amount of food we cooked for our group. We loved the gigantic island and spent a lot of time around it. One thing that should be noted is that the primary bedroom does not have a twin bed in it like the listing states and shows in pictures. This did throw off our room situations so I thought it’d be appropriate to note for anyone else banking on that extra bed in the large room. Also, the hot water tank is not as large as you’d expect for a house that size. We took many cold showers even though everyone was showering quickly and trying to shower at different times. Otherwise, a perfect stay and those two minor inconveniences didn’t change our thoughts on this beautiful house. We’d book the Rockbridge Retreat again in a heartbeat!"

"The house was as listed on the site and what we've come to expect from past visits. Everything in the kitchen worked and was very clean. Some members of our group enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, and the fire pit at the bottom of the hill made for an enjoyable evening under the stars. We look forward to coming back to this house next year,Dan"

"I really loved the overall theming, size, and location of the cabin, but sadly it does seem a little more run-down then in the pictures. The hammock is impossible to use because there is a large tear right in the middle of it, the projector screen was covered in dead, smashed bugs, some of the features inside of the house did not work, such as the sorting hat (this was not a big deal, but was a bummer). The outside of the house was home to a large number of small bats as well. I completely understand that this is in the middle of the woods and wildlife is to be expected, but a notification to expect bats and bat droppings would have been appreciated - one of our guests has a phobia of bats and was very caught off guard by this.Otherwise, the host was wonderful, friendly, and quick to respond, the beds were comfortable enough for a 2 night stay, the kitchen was well stocked, and the cabin was very roomy and clean. I would gladly stay here again if some repairs/upkeep were completed before."

"The cabin is beautiful and the host was extremely responsive. We had some weather related issues that were out of his control, but he answered our calls on the first ring and was able to assist us quickly. We saw beautiful birds, turkey and deer. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. I definitely recommend."
