Pool and hot tub not working. No breakfast being served. 80 dollar CASH deposit required to check in. Jetted tub faucet was so slow i quit trying to fill tub after an hour. Then had to manually hold drain open to empty the tub. Tv remote did not turn tv on and off or control the volume.

They have a 2 signs up that say, "not serving breakfast, sorry for the inconvenience" and "pool not working". Both were advertised in Expedia and they also forced me to pay a $80 cash deposit in addition to paying Expedia. I really am going to seek out a refund for this horrible experience and report them to better business bureau

The staff was pleasant and it was very clean, but inconvenient as you had to have a cash deposit, no pool, and no breakfast and to get the deposit back you had to go and find a worker to check the room first.

The check in clerk was rude. They required an $80 CASH deposit which we were not informed of. There was no breakfast served which was supposed to be available. At Check out we had to wait for them to go up and inspect our room before they would return our $80, The morning clerk was at least courteous.

Where to begin...first, nothing that was listed on Expedia was true when we got to the property. There was no breakfast, no pool, no $100 charge card deposit, and they said I hadn't already paid for the room when I had. They made me pay them $80 CASH for a room deposit and give them my credit card for the room charge. The lady at the desk couldn't explain anything; she just kept repeating that everything was hotel policy. She gave me a sheet to explain hotel policy, but wouldn't let me keep it or read it - she made me sign it and hand it back to her. What good is that? The whole property is old and run down and beat up, and looks nothing like the website photos. The photos are clearly stock photos. The room was old and broken and beat up (but it WAS clean). The bathroom faucet was loose and floppy, the TV remote didn't work, the AC/heat unit ran but didn't actually work, there were very few outlets and none where you need them, the bathroom caulk was dirty and chipped, etc. If it hadn't been late at night and the middle of a storm, we would have left.

I booked it because the ad on this site said it had a pool, a hot tub and free brekfast. They offered NOT ONE of these things! The facility was run down, dirty and smell like marijuana throughout the motel. And the had the GALL to demand an $80 cash damage deposit at check-in. Worst online booking I have ever made!

They advertised free breakfast and when I checked in the front desk told me that they don't serve breakfast. One of the staff members said that they had not served breakfast for a while. If this is the case, the management needs to remove this from their description. They don't tell you in advance that you have to give them an $80.00 cash security deposit when you arrive. They will not let you use a credit card or debit card for the deposit. Cash ONLY! Luckily, I had cash on hand. Over my career, I have stayed in thousands of hotel rooms. This is one of the worst properties that I have stayed in.

Staff was never there. Thy took a $80 cash deposit and told me to collet it when I checked out. Well I waited an hour for someone to come to the front desk at 5am and never they never came. Sign said be back in 15 min. So now I’m out $240 for the two nights and $80 deposit. Worst experience with a hotel I’ve had ever.

Do not stay at this hotel. They charge $80 for a damage deposit. They had no pool available, no breakfast and we had to wait 2 hours to checkout because no one was at the front desk first thing in the morning. Our room was clean, but that is the only good point.

No breakfast when clearly stated breakfast included. No pool, when stated pool included. Cash deposit required, no credit card. Rooms were trashed and had to beg to get another room. Room had bed torn up and mattress on the floor. Also all bedding wadded up on the floor. Tv doesn’t work. Tried to cancel reservation due to all these issues and was not allowed to cancel. Seems sketchy and in safe. Not happy we couldn’t reach Expedia for a resolve to this either.

This property is falsely advertised on their Facebook page and through Expedia. The hotel boasts breakfast and pool, but both haven’t been offered for months. The breakfast is no longer served and the pool hasn’t been working for months. The most disturbing thing is asking your guests for an $80 cash deposit. This isn’t listed on their website through Expedia or corporate. After paying in full through Expedia, why do I need to give a cash despoit and why do you need my card? The property is severely run down. Broken lampshades, light didn’t work in lamp, stains all over the walls, ripped mattress covers, the air conditioner was filthy full of debris and food. I could not wait to get out of here and we checked out before 7:00 AM. The pictures on the website of the lobby look nothing like the property. The clientele was also disturbing. I’ll never stay here again and I’m severely disappointed in my booking. Corporate needs to step in to the practices being done here.

Everything is run down and very shabby. A refund is in order due to the fact that I phoned the hotel in advance to be sure a working pool was onsite and breakfast was provided (two of our standard requirements). Was told yes to both. However upon checkin was told breakfast is not currently being served and the pool is not open. This is totally unacceptable.

This property was the absolute opposite of what was advertised. The pool was closed & they were not seving breakfast. The floors were stained and dirty, the elevator smelled like smoke, in fact there was a nasty smell throughout the entire hotel. The previous occupant of the room had left articles of clothing in the room, the coffee maker still had grounds in it...I could go on and on. On top of all that, even though we had a reservation & had paid by credit card, they required an $80 cash deposit! I would NOT recommend this hotel!

The Hotel does not serve breakfast as advertised… The Hotel rooms do not look like the rooms on Expedia… I couldn’t even buzz the front desk from my room cause the phone cord was missing to connect the handset… I tried calling with my cell phone to get WiFi code and no answer… I gave it a 3 overall cause I didn’t see any bugs and the room was clean just run down as hell… I gave a 4 cause there is a McDonald’s right next door…

The lady checking me in told me we could not stay there because I disrespected her. If there was any disrespect it was her to me. I said maybe I should stay somewhere else where the check in person was nicer and she said you should. We don’t want you here so I left. Also no breakfast which was advertised and no pool and she wanted a cash deposit if $80 cash which I did not have. What a terrible way to run a hotel. I will never stay at a Baymont Hotel again.

This property is very run down,needs alot of maintenance. Refrigerator does not keep things cold, musty smelling.Only 1lamp worked in room,no other light bulbs in lamps.The drain plug was laying in the sink.T.V. remote would not work. Manager on duty was not a pleasant person when checking in- not sociable.ice machine broken no breakfast,and no pool. Outside of building needs cleaned up.

They dont say anything aboout the pool being closed and they stopped the breakfast. You also have to pay 80 to 100 dollars in CASH ONLY before you can check in. Plus you have to pay per pet and if you smoke. I spent more on the deposit than on the room. The sheets dont fit the beds. Stand holding the microwave was broken. They used grey tape to fix a hole in the tub. Over all very disappointed with my stay.

Website shows early check-in as one of the amenities. It also shows a hottub, indoor pool and hot breakfast. These are all features we searched for because we had a sporting event in the morning and evening and had a small window to check in. We arrived at 1pm and walked in and lobby was dark and dirty. There was a sign on the counter that said “back in 15 minutes” when I waited at the counter the desk clerk poked her head out of a dark room. I asked if we were able to check in and she rudely said “nope, check in is at 3pm” I explained we were between events and asked if there were any exceptions since the website says early check in was an option - she again said “no, nothing can be done before 3pm” and then went back behind the wall. My husband came in after and asked to use the restroom and she said no, guests only. He explained we were coming to stay later and she said the men’s restroom was out of service and he was instructed to use the women’s. While we waited we saw a sign that said breakfast wasn’t going to be available and the pool and hottub were closed. You would be better to just close this hotel branch. With everything in disrepair and unclean -I can only imagine what the rooms looked like. We cancelled and have requested a refund. This was all sorts of false advertising, and terrible service.

Round toilet seat attached to low level extended length toilet. Clerk was shocked at this. Like sitting on floor. No Kleenex in room. Penny sized bars of soap for shower and sink. Had to let hot water run for extended period of time before it came out of faucet. Ice machine out of service on my floor. No non rolling chair to sit on to remove/ put on shoes. ( important to seniors). TV remote didn’t work. Wires to TV scattered on floor. Bed and pillows just ok. Hard shelled BUG the size of a quarter crawled across wall near ceiling. Only chair in room had rollers and my wife had to hold it steady so I could try to climb on it in order to swat it with a towel (the only thing available). Was not allowed to register before giving an $80 CASH deposit for the night. My credit card was not acceptable for that.

This hotel requested a $80 cash only deposit. Most hotels don't want to deal with cash at all. I found this sketchy. When we got our room, the ceiling was falling down. There was no free breakfast as promised and the pool was also closed. We ended up leaving it was that bad.

King suite advertised sleeping for 5. Hide-a-bed had broken springs. We requested rollaways to replace that. THEY had broken springs! We requested another room. They could not do that. Neither the advertised breakfast or swimming pool were available. I previously liked this hotel. Never will risk it again.

The facilities were acceptable. However, there was was the tiniest bar of soap ive ever seen, tge blow dryer didnt work, but most importantly dont advertise you have a free continental breakfast if you don't. There was literally a loaf of walmart white bread and one moldy orange. Thats it. No cereal, milk, oatmeal, bagels coffee, juice.. nothing but a loaf of bread and 1 single moldy orange....i have photos
