Love this place!

Had some noisy kids. But Nancy the hotel manager mad it right with our next stay. Didn’t even have to ask. She offered when I called. Ok r next stay was perfect like it always had been before. And the rooms are always clean and ready upon arrival. This will always be our choice to stay in Springfield!!!

Great value for the money.

Pros: Proximity to everything and price.
Cons: Maybe some tweaking of the breakfast bar and moving the beds closer to the wall.
Location: Great places to eat nearby, easy highway access, hiking trails close, Battlefield Mall right up the street.
We love staying at the Clarion because of price and convenience. Both my wife and I are from the SE part of Springfield, and find the hotel to be centrally located to everything and everyone. We also love the staff. All of them are friendly and would great us as we came in...or departed. Special recognition to Meghan, who's been at the front desk our last four visits. Two little annoyances, however: 1) The bed sat about 5" away from the wall, creating a black hole where my pillow always wanted to go. I had to use another pillow to stuff the void. 2) I appreciate the free breakfast, but the eggs have been sorely lacking our last couple of visits - either no taste, or an offensive taste. Also, one day the biscuits were hard as a rock. Granted, we ate late that day and warmers are never kind to biscuits. We'll keep staying here, however!

Nice except for shower

Room and bed were clean and comfortable. The only way to use the shower was to hold the shower head in one hand. There was no water pressure unless the valve was turned to full hot.

The hotel and rooms appear nice, upon inspection of the first room assigned to me though, peanut butter and pet hair were found in the sheets of the bed (from this, I’m guessing the maids don’t usually wash the sheets). They gave me a new room and it appeared clean and the rest of the stay was uneventful. The breakfast was good.

Good restful night

Pros: Usual chain road hotel, cleaner and more comfortable than most.
Cons: Lighting on the interstate side of parking lot.
After along drivingly and another one in our future, we picked this hotel to stay at in Springfield, MO.The hotel was nice and everything was clean. Bed was comfortable and breakfast the next morning was amongst the best we have experienced. We would suggest parking your vehicle on the lighted side of the hotel away from the interstate for safety issues. .

Overnight stay for trail race.

Needed a place close to Two Rivers Mountain Bike Park to race the next day. This was right off the highway and close to several restaurants. Made our stay enjoyable, convenient and comfortable. The free breakfast also made the trip a breeze.

Hotel was great ,reservation was a nite mare everything was confused,I I reserved a 2 nite stay,that got all messed up when I arrived they had me booked for 3 rooms I only booked 1 it took 30 min at the desk to get it all straighten out the manager was a great help

Didn't Hold Our Room

I made reservations and noted that it would be after midnight when checked in. I asked them to reserve the room I booked and hold it. Instead they let someone else check into the double room with queen beds I had booked. Their computer system was updating so they couldn't pull up rooms to check availability or cleanliness. They sent us to the first room that hadn't been cleaned. The desk clerk had to physically walk and check 4 dirty rooms before finding a clean room on the fifth attempt. It was a double room with double beds instead of queens. She was very apologetic about the whole situation but all they had to do was charge me for the room I booked and hold it. If for some unforseen reason I hadn't checked in they still get paid and I would've had the clean room I booked the first time.

Nice place! Easy access to the interstate, clean facilities and nice room! Breakfast was typical motel food but convenient and plenty to offer.
