In many ways this was a bare bones place to stay. It I really appreciated the cleanliness of my room.

Checked in and turned air conditioning on ( was very hot day) when we returned to room several hours later , there was no power in the room. Called desk, who then proceeded to call owners of property for resolution. Were sending someone out to fix it ?????? Then finally decided to give us a different room. We received nothing for this major inconvenience.

Unpleasant stay.
Very run down. AC didnt work for one of the rooms along with the lock on the door. No cleaning during the weekend stay. Theyre listed as pet friendly and they are not. Had bugs in the room, like from the drains. No bed bugs or roaches which was good. Ripped screens on windows. Made a two room reservation and they only had one rm documented. Was an okay place for staying the night, but wouldnt want to hang out during the day.

room was dark. one of the wall lamp was broken. Only one lamp work. Currenly I am in another motel. paid less for the room and its brighter and cleaner.......and offer ice..

We didn’t have any booking from name Julie Motel rooms people like little dark Lamp wasn’t broke before In this town we are lowest price that’s why guests like our motel with competitive service

It is a classic roadside motel from the 60's. The owner was very nice. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Good hot shower. Just tired and worn. Just slept there so no big deal. Good if you are on a budget or really tired and need to sleep.

This is an older motel, but it is obvious the management and staff are working toward bringing the property back. Although the room was bare bones, the bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh and the room was absolutely spotless. Cheerful staff and a feeling of welcome topped it off. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are driving through.

Basic but fine for a short stay
The Elm Motel is an older facility that has been well maintained. It is a simple place -- clean and comfortable, but there is no phone or clock/radio in the room. It was not as close to downtown as I had hoped, so one has to drive there. The owners/staff are pleasant and helpful.

Elm Motel was a pleasant experience. This is a semi-upgraded old fashioned motor court. The beds were very comfortable, and our room was quiet. If we are in the area again, we would certainly stay again!
