Decent hotel

Hotel stay was just ok. The staff was very unfriendly. I requested to have ajoining rooms and they refused to accommodate because we booked through Expedia and not directly with them. We also requested to check in early and they said, "no check in is at 3pm and not any earlier". Just very rude staff and expensive breakfast for what you get. $10 a person, even for kids and the milk was spoiled.

Very clean and close to everything

Very clean, love the room service and the fact that it is close to everything. My son truly enjoy the swimming pool!

Weekend visit to Springfield

Initial opinion of hotel very good. Lobby area modern and swanky. Room was rundown. Broken glass in picture frame over jacuzzi, black desk chair held together by white cable tie, bathroom mirror missing decorative trim in places. WiFi was a joke. Was never able to connect to complimentary service...kept wanting to bill fee per day. With so many options of hotels in area, not sure I would rebook this hotel if I visited Springfield again.

I want to apologize for your experience. We do have free wifi but I completely understand if logging into it was difficult. We are working to address this. Beds are hard, pillows not supportive, water pressure is low, washers are not great. Clean, and good location.

Bad Night in Springfield

Hotel website is misleading - said breakfast available (yes, for $10 each). When looking for a place to stay, we chose the Hilton because it had a pool - we wanted to swim that night. AFTER we checked in, we discovered the pool was closed (for maintenance). That should have been told to us up front. The room temp was inconsistent - too hot, then too cold. When I informed the front desk of our disappointment, they didn't appear to interested. We were very disappointed with our stay and definitely would NOT stay there again.

The carpets were filthy. The elevator looked like it has never been cleaned. If I am ever back in the area I will not stay at this hotel.

The only problem was the bed. It had a lever along each side that apparently did nothing. The bed was uncomfortable! It sagged like an old mattress.

I apologize that you had trouble with the controls. Our king rooms have an adjustable setting for each side of the bed so that you can adjust the firmness to your personal taste.
