Amazing stay

Posted Jul 22, 2016
We had the best experience at Naomi's Inn! The hostesses were extremely attentive and very hospitable. The breakfasts were delicious and very generously portioned. Our room (Asian Flair) was cosy and very comfortable. We can't wait to go back! Thank you M & M! See you again!

Charm, comfort and friendliness

Posted Apr 12, 2016
Pros: Charm and friendliness.
Cons: My very minor issues were the timing of breakfast (just an hour) and the room was very hot at night- had to open the window.
Location: It's a 20 min drive, but was able to stay here for college tour at Mount Holyoke.
My daughter and I had a great stay for 2 nights at Naomi's. It's a beautiful place, beautifully decorated, and very friendly staff (owner who greeted us and the staff in the morning who make a yummy to-order breakfast). We stayed in the Louis XIV Room, which is lavishly decorated and we felt like royalty. :) The beds are VERY comfortable. Thank you!

Our stay at Naomi's B & B was great. We prefer to stay at a Bed and Breakfast instead of a hotel because of the personal service. We arrived a bit later than expected, due to traffic, but after making a call, they arrived within a few minutes to let us in. Although, one of the owners was out of town due to an emergency, all went well. The room was wonderful. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Decent B&B

Posted Mar 20, 2016
Location: It's all of 2 minutes from the highway exit (although there are a couple of turns to get there), and getting back ON the highway is dead simple.
There are a few not-so-obvious things, like that you drive up on the left of the property to get to the parking area, and that the place is basically unstaffed most of the time. (To checkout, for instance, you just leave...) It has the feeling of a place where they've crammed in a few too many rooms rather than having any public shared space. The breakfast area, for instance, is a bit cramped, although decently stocked, and there's a guy there to make you eggs or sausage from something like 8 - 10 AM (I don't recall the exact time, but thought "hey, if I needed to leave early, this'd be a pain...) Then again, if you need to leave early, there's cereal and tea and juice for you, etc. The room itself was nice and the bed was comfortable, and it was pretty quiet despite being across from a medical center.

Thank you for the review! We live in a small home across the driveway. Perhaps we should make it more obvious that we are always on-site. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

It's fine.

They did not respond to my emails, though their email said that was one of the preferred methods of communication. This turned out to be an issue because I asked for a late departure, and was charged the extra $15, but not everyone was on the same page. Additionally they missed the email stating our dietary restrictions, not a big deal, but if you aren't going to read the emails, don't ask. Close to lots of good restaurants, across the street from a hospital if you choose poorly.

OMG! So sorry, its quite possible it made it to our junk mail. We will try to do a better job of checking that as you aren't the only one lost in the shuffle. Thank you for being this to our attention!

Naomi's Inn

Posted Dec 18, 2015 on Hotels
Inn is easy to get to from the interstate. Overall condition is good although needs a bit more attention in housekeeping. Room was cramped but comfortable. We waited on the front porch while a neighbor worked to get us in. It seems our host could not leave the basketball game in the back yard to welcome us. At breakfast cell phone took precedence over service. Hospitality needs to become a priority if the Inn wants repeat guests.

Well, just for future reference. The staff sometimes does play basketball while they are off the clock. The neighbor you spoke of... is ME! The owner... Our home is directly across the driveway from the inn literally 20 feet away. I am sorry for the confusion on that.

Good location, house, missing amenities.

Posted Dec 16, 2015
Pros: location and building
Cons: Was disappointing that there was not any late-night,, or morning beverage-coffee service. Breakfast started at 8:30am, too late for business travel
Location: Hospital, downtown EZ access.
Business trip, wanted to try B&B. Good location, parking, room and facility fine. But no water glasses or mugs, no non-sink water, no coffee machines, no snacks - my meetings went late and started early. OK if you are visiting hospital, and if you don't need to get out early. Check-in fine.

Well, there is a coffee maker in every room now, so thank you for that suggestion I will say this however, there is always ( on both floors ) a single serving coffee machine, ice machine, water dispenser and cups in the kitchen and near the coffee machines. Snacks? Well, we have cereal, bread, granola, yogurt, pop tarts\strudel and usually either fruit or muffins. Maybe we need to feature them in a more prominent location. Something to think about. Thank you for the feedback.
