It's quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant down the street had good food and gave us a discount for staying.

Microwave did not work, electrical switch in bathroom faulty, bathroom sink leaked. No continental breakfast available. Had to ring a bell to be admitted to the office. Unable to switch out the microwave upon request. The property did reduce the total price on the bill as there was a power outage during one night.

Room was clean. Breakfast was fine for me. Cereal, juice, muffins, coffee, and other items. No in room coffee. Non-smoking but smelled like an ashtray in the hallway. Outside needs yard, and landscaping maintained.

There is not a free breakfast as stated. The room had a water bottle left in it when arriving. the floors were dirty. The coffee pot was dirty

They need to fix the outlet boxes. There was not connecter box for the outlet it was just put in the wall. Sink leak all over when you turned the water on.

I was in Taylorville for a wedding. I at first was a little upset when I checked in because the website said “free breakfast “ and there wasn’t. So of course my first opinion was not good…. Everything else was fine. It was very quiet. I stayed 5 nights and heard NOTHING at night but 2 trains….it was silent and the permanent residents never made a peep. I was VERY happy with the quietness. I was even MORE IMPRESSED with getting room service (room cleaned up) EVERY day. I did NOT expect that. All in all I was very happy with my stay except for not having breakfast
The rooms were DIRTY, mold along the baseboards & in the tile of the bathrooms! Rooms had layers of dust & dirt behind the night stand & under the beds & tables, etc. The shelf above the hanging rack was filthy!!
When I arrived the desk clerk wasn't available so I had to call the Hotel to get someone to check me in. When I went into room 134 I saw several things that needed repairs. Also the floor was very dirty when I walked on the floor the bottom of my feet was black. I dealt with this same issue my last stay about 1 year ago. Also the AC needed Freon I had to keep the temperature down to 65 just to cool the room. I really don't know how often this hotel is inspected but who ever actually owns this hotel needs to take care of the issues I have mentioned.
The motel wasn't new, but the room was nice enough. The bed was comfortable and the area quiet. The only complaint was minor. There was no clock or radio in the room. However, my phone could provide the time and alarm.
I couldn't do my presentation..the fan in room was noisy they don't except cash ..

Lack of outlets, could hear neighbors, no chain lock, small room and beds. Bad lighting, advise breakfast and used covid as excess but other hotels are back to breakfast, see light around seal of door.

This is an older motel, so yes it could use a facelift but it appealed to my needs. Good price, microwave, fridge and shower amenities. The location was close to where I needed to be.
Vera at the front desk is super knowledgeable about the area and very attentive to making the stay comfortable.
Since this is one of only a few hotel options, i didnt have many. So after arriving late the first night, i walked in to a lobby that was full of random furniture and other junk. Had a outside light constantly flashing all three nights and had dirt all around base boards and foreign hair found between the sheets. This hotel knows you have very little choice but next time I'll drive extra distance to find a legitimate accomodations.
Very poor room. Shower was filthy..looked like mold around the caulking. Bathroom didn’t feel clean. Room itself was shabby. Hard floor felt like it was lifting off cement. Furniture was garage sale merchandise it didn’t even match. Old and beat up. Definitely will not be staying here again if out this way. We’ll drive longer distance to find something way better. When I called they acted like this was the best in Illinois!!…VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
I think this place used to be a roadside motel from the 80's. Gross, run down. Dirty. Watched a skiny old crack head pulling weads out of bushes at 10pm when we checked in. $100 a night! REALLY!!?? When we pulled out wr saw an old mattress on the ground under an awning with 3 chairs around it...WTH!?? Here on business...no other motel in area.

I did not like that the door to my room opened out and that the chain lock was not in working order, only a dead-bolt lock.

The owner of this Franchise refuses to invest money into the property. The walls all stained with SCUM the Shower has a constant drip the floors are wet. the beds have a deep indention in the middle of the mattress the Shower current was filthy muddy. it appears the previous customer might have been a construction worker. Franchise Super8 should remove themselves from this owner!
